We met as most modern couples do - online! He liked her, she messaged him, and the rest is history. With conflicting parenting schedules and busy work lives, planning a first date took time. When Peter asked Marissa out to dinner in January 2023, she immediately said yes but the date was 2 weeks away! We couldn't wait, and planned a happy hour at Landon Winery on January 4. The original first date became the second in a long line of dates.

We got to know each other over fabulous dates and movie nights on the couch, bonding over our shared love for wine and travel. In July, we introduced each other to our kids, braving a joint bowling adventure. By November of 2023, we had created a new blended family that we affectionately call the "Brady Bunch".

Peter proposed to Marissa on March 23, 2023 at our family Easter celebration during the Easter Egg Hunt. Marissa thought she was planning an Easter party, but it was really her Engagement party! Peter hid a "special egg" for the hunt that he had the kids find. He said "Oh this egg is for Marissa" opening it to a piece of paper that said "Will you marry me?" He then got down on one knee and pulled out her dream ring with our kids, friends and family present.

We are planning a small wedding celebration in gorgeous Temecula, California in June 2025. Peter grew up in San Diego, and still has many friends and family in the area. Marissa fell in love with Southern California when the couple traveled there together. We can't wait to share this amazing wedding weekend with our guests!
