Guest FAQs
What are the options for transportation and parking?
Our venue has limited parking onsite and parking restriction ordinances prevent street parking near the home. We suggest that you plan to Uber or Lyft to and from the celebration, especially if you plan to drink. If you do need to drive, please check with Peter or Marissa first to ensure we have enough parking spaces and plan to carpool with other guests.
Can I bring a plus-one or children?
Unfortunately, we are extremely limited in the guest count we can accommodate at our venue. The venue is not appropriate for children, and we can only accommodate guests who are added to the invitation. If you have a question, please feel free to ask Peter or Marissa.
Is there a dress code for the wedding?
The suggested attire for the celebration is Cocktail. Please be mindful that the event will be outdoors, and you will be walking on gravel paths and potentially uneven ground. Ladies may want a wrap or light jacket for the evening if it is cooler. If you would like to coordinate with the color palette, we are going with dusty rose, merlot, and eucalyptus green.
Is it ok to take photos and post on social media?
We want our guests to truly be in the moment with us during this special day, and we have hired a professional photographer to capture everything. However, we would also love to see your candid shots and favorite pics from the day. You can feel free to post on social media after we do.
Will there be food options for guests with dietary restrictions?
We will have gluten-free options available! If you have any other dietary restrictions, please let Marissa know so that she can make accommodations.
Will there be activities scheduled on Saturday, June 21?
Yes! Please plan to be with us on Saturday for a Rehearsal Dinner and other activities. These will be communicated from Marissa or Peter when we finalize details.
What are the rules of the Villa de la Vine Venue?
We are using the Villa de la Vine for our event, but must follow their rules. We thank all of our guests in advance for complying with these requests so that we can have an amazing celebration.
We cannot exceed 35 guests on the property, we cannot have more than 10 cars parked on the property, nor can there be cars parked on the street, and we cannot have loud music. There is a county ordinance that goes into effect at 9:30pm that states there can be no loud music or bright lights. If the party is still going, we will move indoors to the Villa at this time.
