Sarah introduced Marissa to the world of thrifting and estate sales. Now there are many treasures in the future Speciale household, including a gargoyle from the spoils of a hard-fought estate sale battle.

Marissa and Juliana (Jules) met because Jules is married to Andrew's longtime friend, Dylan Delong. They became fast friends and enjoy pool days, girls nights, and share too many inside jokes.

Taylor and Marissa met through Kappa Alpha Theta at NCSU 10 years ago. They were roommates in the Theta house and Taylor would send vines to Marissa when she was a few feet above her in the top bunk bed. They enjoy quoting the movie Stepbrothers and still send each other memes on the regular.

Kristen is Marissa's sorority little from Kappa Alpha Theta at NCSU. Kristen is such a kind, sincere, funny friend and she is luckily not too far away in Greensboro, NC!

Nora is the daughter of Matron of Honor Briana Bratcher. Nora calls Marissa "Auntie Rizzo" and is a sweet and spunky kid.

They then went to NC State, where they joined the same Fraternity and went through Army ROTC together. Dillon was always there as his roommate to help with homework and keeping Andrew on track. Andrew and Marissa remain close friends with Dillon, his wife, Sarah, and their two dogs, Clyde and Phoebe.

Patrick and Andrew began their friendship in college at NC State, where Andrew was Patrick's "big brother" in their Fraternity. They quickly became close and bonded over making ridiculous bets together, whether it be darts, life, or sports. Even though Patrick lives in Minneapolis with his wife, Tiffany, he and Andrew have stayed close over the years.

Andrew and Jack met at NC State, where Jack was Andrew's "little brother" in their Fraternity. Andrew and Jack bonded over their shared interest in tailgates, football, fitness, and hotdogs. Today, Jack lives in Greensboro with his wife, Zoe, and their dog, Zellie.

Andrew and Matt went through Army ROTC together at NC State, where they quickly became friends together with Dillon. Andrew and Matt still try to keep in Army shape by running and training for races, unfortunately without Dillon. Matt lives in Raleigh with his wife, Hanna, daughter, Maisie, and their two dogs, Suzie and Yogi.

Andrew and Dylan became friends in high school and continued through college at NC State where Dylan joined the same Fraternity with Andrew and Dillon Drushal. Andrew and Dylan have gone on some fun adventures together with their friends, including fight night in Las Vegas, ATVing through Costa Rica, fishing on Cape Lookout, and cruising to Mexico. Andrew and Marissa stay close with Dylan and his wife, Jules, and their two dogs, Sadie and Cooper.
