Hilton New Orleans Riverside
We have a block of rooms reserved at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside, which guests can use to book rooms at a discounted rate through January 18, 2026. The official block of rooms starts on Friday, February 20, 2026. However, if you are arriving on Thursday, February 19, 2026, you should be able to include that night as part of your reservation if you book through the wedding link and at the group rate.
As the name suggests, the Hilton Riverside is on the riverfront in downtown New Orleans, near the Algiers Ferry terminal. Weather permitting, the ferry provides a fun, scenic and easy way to cross the river to Algiers Point. It's then a 10 minute walk from the ferry landing to Compass Point, the venue for the wedding and reception.
Algiers Point Ferry
The Algiers Point Ferry is a fun, scenic, and easy way to get from Downtown New Orleans to the wedding venue in Algiers Point.
The ferry departs from the Canal Street Ferry Terminal every thirty minutes at :15 and :45 past the hour. The ferry departs from the Algiers Point Ferry Terminal every thirty minutes on the hour and half-hour. The Algiers Point Ferry Terminal is about a 10 minute walk from Compass Point, which will be the venue for the wedding and reception.
You can purchase tickets using the New Orleans RTA "Le Pass" app or by paying cash (exact change only) when you board the ferry. The fare is $2 per person, each way. You can also buy a 1-day Jazzy Pass for $3, which will give you unlimited rides on both the ferry and the New Orleans streetcar.
