As we have around 100 guests, we also recommend looking on Google Maps.
There are many hotels in the area. For example, if you happen to have trouble booking in a nearby city like Winston-Salem or Greensboro, there are smaller cities like Eden, NC, with hotels. There are even hotels across the border in Virginia.
Further, Hillsborough and nearby Raleigh are not that far away.
The wedding is in the mid afternoon, so if you do need to make a longer drive (i.e., hotels near Raleigh could be over 1h30m away), you'll have time.
Please have a designated driver though if you plan to have more than few beers or glasses of wine. We don't want tipsy guests on unfamiliar roads navigating country darkness and city traffic.

A small note on NC driving culture: They will tailgate you. It's a cultural thing (like not using their turn signals because, to quote an OpEd in the Raleigh News and Observer, "It's not anyone's business"). In other words, don't take it personally and be safe.

We also encourage those of you who want to save resources to consider partnering with another guest. We've created a spreadsheet for that purpose, here.
I believe you can access it even without a Gmail account, but if you are having trouble, please, let Mark or Daniel know.

Airports: There are several options for airports. Guests flying in from Columbus, OH can usually get direct flights to Charlotte and sometimes Raleigh-Durham (RDU). The nearest aiport to the wedding is Piedmont Triad International Airport (GSO) in Greensboro. However, Daniel checked and usually flights from CMH to GSO aren't direct. They want you to connect through Charlotte, anyway.
If you want to avoid connecting flights, the Charlotte airport is about 2h away by car. Remember, airport rental cars can be quite cheap (and you often get to try a fancy, new model, car), so it's something to consider. Travel sites can often give you great deals. We usually rent through Budget. They aren't fancy but sometimes their cars are and they get the job done.

We look forward to seeing you on the special day!
