Nestled in the lush green hills of Marlboro you will find Benmarl Winery. Overlooking the historic Hudson River Valley, it’s 37 acre estate lays claim to the oldest vineyard in America. This winery is gorgeous and worth the trip but make a reservation!

Océane Vineyards is a small family-owned boutique winery and vineyard located in the historic and scenic town of Chester NY.

They produce single varietal and blended wines from their vineyard that reflects the terroir of the Hudson Valley region.

Storm King Art Center is a 500-acre outdoor museum located in New York’s Hudson Valley, where visitors experience large-scale sculpture and site-specific commissions under open sky. Since 1960, Storm King has been dedicated to stewarding the hills, meadows, and forests of its site and surrounding landscape. Building on the visionary thinking of its founders, Storm King supports artists and some of their most ambitious works.

The mission of the West Point Museum is to collect, preserve, exhibit, and interpret historically significant artifacts pertaining to the United States Military Academy, United States Army and the Profession of Arms.

In addition to the Main Museum building in Olmsted Hall, the Museum also administers Fort Putnam which it operates seasonally.

Dia Beacon is the museum for the Dia Art Foundation's collection of art from the 1960s to the present and is one of the 11 locations and sites they manage. The museum, which opened in 2003, is situated on the banks of the Hudson River in Beacon, New York.

One of our favorite restaurants in Beacon. This is where our parents met and Mark held a little engagement party after he proposed. The food is awesome!

Beacon has so much to offer! Main Street will provide a mile of eclectic restaurants, wine bars, shopping, live music and coffee shops. You can also park at the bottom of Mt. Beacon and take a hike to the top. The picture is from the last time I was there. On a clear day, you can see NYC and climb the fire tower for spectacular views.

The Roundhouse is a historic boutique hotel in Beacon, NY. Overlooking a beautiful waterfall with brick, floor-to-ceiling windows and nestled at the bottom of Mt. Beacon. A must visit!
