Mark and Brigitte met in the Aspen residential neighborhood in Waco, Texas during Baylor University’s fall semester of 2018. After exchanging Snapchat information, the two were inseparable. Mark and Brigitte had a long-distance relationship for the first three and a half years they were together. They would plan to see each other at least once a month and made wonderful memories together. In the summer of 2021 Brigitte made the decision to move to Houston to jump-start her career. For the first time, Mark and Brigitte lived in the same city. They have enjoyed getting to explore Houston and eat at all the amazing restaurants. Brigitte was even turned into an Astros fan after years of cheering for the Rangers. Shortly after moving to Houston Mark and Brigitte got a beautiful blue merle mini Australian Shepherd and named him Polo. They took him on many walks and hikes throughout his first year of life. Brigitte decided that she was not done with school and got accepted into the University of St. Thomas’ Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program. Brigitte will attain her Master of Science in May of 2024. In late November of 2022, Mark and Brigitte expanded their little family by getting a red Merle Border Collie and named her Luna. It took no time for Polo and Luna to become the best of friends. On March 11th, 2023 Mark proposed to Brigitte in Wimberly, Texas. Brigitte was overjoyed and surprised to see so many friends and family there to celebrate their engagement. In January of 2024, Mark and Brigitte moved into their first house in Houston. They cannot wait to have all of you present to celebrate the next step in their relationship.
