The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses, a suit and tie, or a sports coat.

We have the same venue for both the ceremony and the reception.

The ceremony will be taking place outside. The reception will be both indoor and outdoor.

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head inside, where we will be serving finger foods and beverages during cocktail hour.

Due to the space limitations of our venue, we unfortunately have to limit the rehearsal dinner guest list to those who will be playing a role in the ceremony. We apologize in advance to those who are not included.

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We will have children who are involved in the ceremony along with family members present. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us

Yes, we have blocked rooms at The Grand Hotel & Ballroom in downtown McKinney. We recommend that guests coming from out of town stay in downtown McKinney. If you decide to reserve a room, you have to CALL the Grand Hotel and use our Group Code: LEWIS-TIDWELL24 (214-726-9250). You will need to provide the name and date of your block (Friday, September 27th- Sunday, September 29th). This will allow the Hotel to ensure that you are listed with the correct group and are receiving the discounted rate. All guests will be required to provide a credit or debit card when making room reservations. The last day to reserve a room will be thirty days prior to the arrival date on August 27th, 2024.

After the wedding ceremony, we will serve light hors d’oeuvres and have an open bar. We invite you to toast to our nuptials with a curated selection of wine, beer, and our signature cocktails. Non-alcoholic bevrages will be avlable as well.

We will be serving a sit-down dinner of Italian food buffet style.

Yes, please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions when you RSVP so that we can make sure there are options available.

If you’re traveling for our wedding, making the trip is a gift in itself — physical gifts are absolutely not necessary! If you do choose to browse our wedding registry, however, any items on the list can be shipped directly to our home address.

No, guests will be responsible for their own transportation. I recommend using Uber if you are staying in McKinney, as there is not a multitude of parking spaces at the venue.
