Mark and Miranda met during the harvest of 2020, in San Luis Obispo, California. They both worked at Edna Valley Vineyards where Mark managed the operations and Miranda worked in winemaking. After kindling a friendship at work, Miranda asked Mark out for drinks.

Their first date was at a cornerstone bar called The Black Sheep in downtown SLO. The weekend after, they spent together hiking Big Sur on the central coast of California.

Their friendship and relationship grew and blossomed - and even Achilles - Mark's Doberman - started to warm up to Miranda. The three became a tightknit group and Miranda quickly adopted him as her own.

In April of 2021, they decided to adopt a Doberman puppy together and named her Nike. Achilles gained a baby sister and made their dog family complete.

Through living together and long distance, Mark and Miranda have grown and learned so much together. They traveled to Costa Rica, Ireland, and England together. Not to mention all of the trips to Lake Tahoe.

In October of 2023, they purchased their first home together in Turlock, California where they live with their two Dobermans. Now they both work in Modesto, California and see each other at work again, just like they did when they first met.
