Matt can't wait to get married and start a new journey in life with his soon to be wife! Matt is just as excited as everyone else to celebrate the day!

Kerri is Mary's third oldest sister. Kerri lives in Victoria with her partner Jon, their son Mason, and their dog Tucker. Kerri has been by Mary's side through thick and thin and has been helping plan this wedding since the moment Matt proposed! Kerri was always one of Mary's role models growing up and they both share the sisterly bond of having each others back no matter what! I couldn't imagine my special day without you by my side!

Brianna is Mary's best friend since 2019. Brianna lives in Alberta with her dog Cheyenne and her partner Gary. Brianna and Mary have shared in many adventures whether it was battling car fires together, or finding the key to an escape room, or simply hanging out watching movies together. Brianna never shy's away from a good dance party! I can't wait to have you by my side dancing the night away.

Cheryl is Mary’s oldest sister. Cheryl has a wonderful home in Victoria with her partner Geoff and their dog Rowen! Cheryl is always reminding Mary to use her legs! (inside joke... they both had knee surgeries). Cheryl is the best adventure buddy since she knows where all the secret waterfalls and best beaches are on the island! Cheryl is always willing to help out with things and has been a huge help with the wedding details and swag! I can't wait to hit up the dance floor with you and challenge you to a dance battle!

Katie is one of Mary’s best friends. Katie shares a wonderful home in Alberta with her husband Coltan and their son Arthur, and dog Emma. Katie and Mary have known each other since 2019 through the Cremona fire department. Katie is always up for a good book, or a quiet night in playing board games... but don't let that fool ya she's got her own wild side whether that be kicking ass at work on the ambulance or commanding a fire scene with the fire department. I can't wait to play some giant Jenga and games, and celebrate the day with you!

Carlee is Mary’s sister-in law. Carlee lives in Alberta with her husband John and their two beautiful children Legacy and Xavier. Carlee is a creative soul and is always up for a craft and wine night! Carlee and Mary became closer in their relationship when Mary lived with Carlee and John for two years. Now they both know each others little quirks and a form of communication that requires no words. 
I can't wait to celebrate the weekend with you!

Bryan is Matt's Best friend since 2012 and currently lives in Ontario with his two cats Bella and Tango. Bryan was also in the military like Matt, where they both became very close over the years. Bryan is always the one Matt can count on to understand what he's going through, and is only a phone call away.

Steven is Matt's younger brother. Steven has one boy named Isaac. Steven and Matt always had a brotherly bond (ie. tormented each other), but when one was in trouble the other had their back. Steven and Matt both were taught how to make the secret Bond Family Apple Pie but their mom is the master at baking it! Steven enjoys playing board games and hanging out with his son in his spare time.

Brendan is Matt's cousin. He lives in Alberta and has two wonderful children with his wife Trisha. Brendan and Matt grew up in the same town together and always hung around each other with the rest of the cousins. As time went by they still kept in touch even after they lived in two different provinces.

Kenny is both Matt and Mary's friend. Kenny lives in Alberta and is always up for a good campfire, or a games night.  Kenny is an excellent chef and baker! His cheesecake is to die for, but almost as good as his famous jalapeno poppers!

I love other dogs, especially huskeys! However I am not as fond of humans... please do not try to pet or feed me at the wedding.

I am all about the love! Give me all your attention and I will stick by your side! I love both dogs and humans but humans are my favorite because they give me snuggles! 
Please do not feed me human food even if I beg for it because mom and dad will get upset with me.

Ceremony & Reception

Where is the Ceremony & Reception?

We are getting married at the Roots and Roses Wedding Venue. There is limited service available in the area so make sure to put it into your google maps before hand. Also sometimes google maps, or apple maps bring you the wrong way so make sure to refer and take a screen shot of the map below for further assistance. If all else fails and you feel lost there will be signs pointing you to the venue. Address:273039 Beaupre Creek Rd, Rocky View, AB T4C 1B6. It is located approximately 30 kms from Cochrane, 56 kms from Cremona, and 67 kms from both Calgary and Airdre.

Nestled high in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, the venue is located on a serene 160 acres. We are located at the end of Beaupre Creek Road surrounded by thick forest and lush meadows.&nbsp;

What time should I arrive?

Our Ceremony starts at 2:00 pm sharp. Please arrive half an hour before so you can enjoy a pre-ceremony drink!

What is the Dress Code

Our venue is all based outside for both ceremony and reception, along with grassy grounds, please dress accordingly. You are welcome to join in on our tropical theme and wear Hawaiian shirts or dresses but keep in mind we are still going to be in Alberta in June weather. Semi-formal attire if you so wish :)

Is the venue wheel chair assessable?

Yes, but will require assistance from some strong people to get through the gravel areas onto the grass. (Refer to Mary's Six older brothers for further assistance!)

Transportation & Parking

is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Unfortunately transportation to and from will not be provided. There is a parking lot within the gates of the venue, and overflow parking down the road. Refer to "Travel" section for more info about transportation options.

Food and Alcohol

Pizza party!

We will be providing pizza for dinner along with many hors d'oeuvres and taco in a bag for a midnight snack! We will also be having an open bar so please drink responsibly and if you require a ride home please plan ahead, or refer to the "travel" section.

Can I take pictures during the Ceremony?

We are having an unplugged ceremony, but there will be an opportunity to take a couple pictures during the ceremony so don't worry.

Wedding week events

Will there be any other events to attend during the wedding weekend?

If you would like to offer a helping hand we will be doing a venue take down and clean up Sunday June 8th. Clean up starts at 8 am for anyone eager. There will be a pancake Breakfast at 10 am for those who make it out.

If you require a pet room it is an additional $15.00 per night and you must phone in and request it, as well as phone in for reserving a room. The reservation is under the "Bond Amsing Wedding."

If you wish to camp, Ghost lake campground is 15 minutes south of the venue, and it is $36.00 a night at a first come first serve basis. There are out houses and water available (though it is not recommended to drink the water), but no other amenities.
