Cell phone service:

According to The Phoenix resort, AT&T and T-Mobile do provide good service in Belize. Please note you would have to contact your cell provider prior to traveling to purchase and activate an international plan. If you have a different service provider than AT&T or T-Mobile, please contact them to inquire if their service works on Ambergris Caye.

Please note you might be able to purchase a cell phone charger in Belize City or on the island however; it is highly recommended not to forget yours at home!

Computer chargers are more difficult to find in Belize City or on Ambergris Caye.

Wireless service:

The wireless service on Ambergris Caye is okay. It can be spotty at times. Most resorts will provide free wireless internet however; you should check with your resort. The Phoenix resort provides free wireless internet.

Electronics:

Belize uses the same 2 prong electrical outlet that we use in the U.S. If you have a 3 prong plug then you will need an adapter to make it 2 prong.
