A great neighborhood spot for a thin crust pizza and a couple of beers that is just a 5 minute drive from Four Points Hotel in Mount Prospect. They have a huge menu and great food!

Fun Fact: Mary Kate waitressed at the Morettis in Edison Park back in the day (so you know it has to be good)!

Great spot for a Guinness or a Magners, located in Arlington Heights (next town over, about a 10 minute drive from hotel).

Also located in downtown Arlington Heights. The perfect spot for a quick drink and good bar food.

A great drive in spot for a Chicago style hot dog! They also have great shakes and malts.

Bub City is a country music bar with amazing food, drinks, and more! Bub City in Rosemont is just a 15 minute drive from Mount Prospect. We recommend the Giddy-Up Fries and General Joe's Buffalo Bites!

Fun Fact: We had our first date at the original Bub City that is located in downtown Chicago!

Our favorite spot in downtown Edison Park! Great brunch, apps, drinks, and more! We recommend their Bloody Mary's (one of my favorite Bloody Mary's ever), Irish Nachos, and the Lobster Roll.

A great spot on the Northwest Side of Chicago for Live Irish Music, food and drinks! We recommend their Irish Breakfast, Buffalo Chicken Dip, Guinness, and Magners (with a glass of ice).

A Wrigleyville staple! Right accross from Wrigley Field serving a brand new beer, called Miller Lite and more. We recommend a cold Miller Lite and buffalo chicken wrap!

In December, the famous London House Rooftop transforms into "Rudolph's Rooftop". Their rooftop is beautifully decorated for the season and have themed Christmas drinks as well! This is usually where we begin our night to get pre-dinner drinks. While they do have Christmas themed drinks, we recommend their dirty martini and old fashioned!

This is walking distance (at least for Chicagoans... so my LA friends I would suggest ubering) from London House! I grew up going there with my family during Christmas time, so once Colin and I started our own traditions, adding this to our list was a must! Miller's Pub is also decorated for the season and is always packed, so we recommend making a reservation through their website. We recommend their Spinach and Artichoke Dip as an appetizer and ordering their famous Christmas special "Tom and Jerry" for an after dinner drink.

This is always a quick stop to admire and take a photo of Chicago's beautifully lit tree!

The original location is downtown on the Daley Plaza and is always packed. From different food and beverage options to the many different German shops, there is something for everyone! They also opened a location in Wrigleyville a couple of years ago, so with our apartment being just blocks away from Wrigley Field, we went more than just once. Whoops! We recommend ordering their famous Glögg to sip on and getting their collectable souvenir mug!
