Our Wedding

It all began when AJ and Mary met at an 11/11/11 party. Mary was a Sophomore and AJ was a Senior at Catalina Foothills High School. AJ asked Mary to dance and although there was an instant connection, Mary didn’t see it for a long time. Throughout the rest of the year, AJ was persistent and professed his love for Mary frequently, saying that she was “different” and “not like other girls”, with Mary’s response always being “I think you’re a great friend”. AJ asked Mary to be his prom date, brought her to parties, and invited her over to play with his puppy, Arya, but to no avail except for deepening their friendship. Time went on, AJ started college at the U of A and they continued to stay friends, seeing each other occasionally, and texting often. Until one day, Mary began to notice her excitement whenever she saw AJ's name pop up on her phone. They went to the midnight premier of The Hobbit and held hands for the first time. That was night Mary realized her feelings for AJ, and on December 21st, 2012, they made it official. AJ and Mary quickly fell madly in love and the rest is history! Once Mary graduated high school, she joined him at the U of A where they spent 2 years in school together (minus a couple short breakups). They made it through 2 years of long distance when AJ moved to Phoenix after he graduated to pursue flight school, then Mary joined him in 2018 to teach Kindergarten. They got an apartment together in Scottsdale and adopted a cat named Calypso. They have lived happily together for over 4 years and hope to buy a house soon! Mary and AJ are ready to take the next step and get married in October! From high school sweethearts, to lifelong partners, they look forward to many more years together and can’t wait to share their love with their closest friends and family!

Guests from out of town are encouraged to fly into Tucson International Airport. From there it's about a 40 minute drive to Ventana Canyon Country Club.

Tucson International Airport

There are various rooms blocked for our wedding weekend. Studio King Suite (sleeps 3), 2 Queen Suite (sleeps 4), Deluxe Suite (sleeps 6-8). All rooms come with a kitchenette!

Lodge At Ventana Canyon

There are many Airbnb options nearby. We recommend any condo or house along Kolb or Craycroft road.
