The building is historic and not ADA compliant. You will have to be able to get up a one story flight of stairs for the reception and a half flight of stairs for the ceremony on the Alley Deck that is connected to the reception space. There will be seating during the ceremony and the reception. Once you are in the reception space, food, drinks, and restrooms are all readily accessible.

We will be inviting children of immediate family members. Due to limitations with our venue space, we ask that you refrain from bringing additional guests beyond your invitation allotment, but there are no age requirements for who you wish to bring as your plus one. There won't be a children's menu option and music will be uncensored.

YES! Please come to laugh and have fun. The sparklier and bolder everyone is the better. This is your chance to dress as flamboyantly as you want! No pressure for those that want to wear standard stuff though; everyone should feel welcome to enjoy the day in whatever makes them feel best! Bright, sparkling, bold, colorful is good; Halloween costumes are not. Pretend it's a prom. Feel free to ask if it's too confusing!

We've got you covered! There's event parking just for wedding guests at the Magic Stick. There will be security in the lot too. You will be welcome to leave your car overnight in the Magic Stick lot if you don't want to pay for local hotel parking and/or are unable to drive responsibly that evening. Yes, we have a block at the Hilton Garden Inn in downtown Detroit. We have the block for both Friday and Saturday nights, so make sure you select your room for ONLY the night(s) you wish to stay at the discounted rate. If the hotel or website says the block is full, contact us ASAP and we will request more rooms on the blocks. You must reserve your room before May 14th, 2025 to get the discounted rate. Yes, from 9pm-1am there will be a shuttle running back and forth from the venue to our preferred hotel, timing will be dependent on downtown Detroit events that evening. Uber and Lyft services are also readily available in the city for ~$15-20 for those of you that don't want to wait for the shuttle or stay after in the bowling alley downstairs.
