What should I wear?
The dress code for our wedding is Formal or Black Tie Optional. Guests may wear tuxedos, dark suits, formal evening gowns, "midi" or tea length dresses, and other dressy evening wear.
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive at St. Joseph Cathedral no later than 2:15 pm so that the wedding ceremony can start promptly.
Can I bring my children?
While we love your littles and wish that they could join, this will be an adults-only reception.
Can I take pictures at St. Joseph Cathedral?
We kindly request that guests do not take photos with their own devices during the ceremony to respect the reverence of the Catholic Mass and adhere to the Cathedral's policy of no flash photography.
You are more than welcome to take pictures during the reception at the Athletic Club of Columbus.
Where should I park for the ceremony and reception?
As the venues are in downtown Columbus, we recommend that guests use a ride-sharing app (Uber, Lyft, etc) or walk to get around downtown.
If you would like to park downtown, there is complimentary self-parking for all wedding guests at the ACC Parking Lot (30 S 4th St, Columbus, OH 43215) on Saturday. We recommend that you park here for the ceremony and reception. If you need parking for the ceremony only, there is a parking lot behind the Cathedral on N 5th St. There is also street parking available.
Are the ceremony and reception wheelchair accessible?
Yes. St. Joseph Cathedral has a wheelchair accessible entrance on East Broad Street before the courtyard gate, and the Athletic Club of Columbus has an elevator that can assist you to the second floor, which is where the reception will take place.
What should I do between the ceremony and reception?
On the "Things to Do" tab, we have provided some of our favorite spots downtown where you can grab a drink or relax between the ceremony and reception.
Do you have a hotel block for guests?
We have a hotel block at three hotels downtown; however, we recommend guests stay at the Renaissance as it is the closest hotel to our venues and has the best rate. Please refer to the "Accommodations" page for further details on booking.
I am unable to select my preferred room/bed type when booking in the hotel block. What should I do?
If guests have a preferred room/bed type (1 king vs 2 queen) at the Renaissance, please indicate your preference within the "Requests" box on the "Guest Information" page when booking.
Where is your registry located?
Please refer to the "Registry" page at the top of this website for our list of registry items.
