We first became friends when we met in 2017, working at camp.

In 2018, working together at camp again, we bonded over theology and shared past experiences, and quickly became very close friends.

In a shocking turn of events, we stopped being friends for a year and a half and thought we would never see each other again.

September 7,2021 we got engaged at Mary’s peak, where we shared a special moment a year before after our first week of dating in person :,)

Three days after we were engaged, I got a tattoo of the Hebrew word Eliashib, which means God restores. It was inspired by the evident hand of God in our relationship through the years and how we were restored to each other, and how this is a promise of our future perfect restoration in heaven. 1 Peter 5:10 ,2 Corinthians 5:18
