On this day Mason came into the world and 7 months later on December 3rd Rachel popped out!

High school sweethearts is what they say... It all started with Rachel sending Mason a DM on Instagram asking for his snapchat lol... Mason got the courage to ask Rachel to homecoming and the rest was history!

When we met Mason was a Junior and Rachel was a Sophomore at Fallston High School ! Mason was a 3 season athlete playing soccer, basketball, and baseball while Rachel played Soccer and lacrosse. If we weren't at our games and practices we'd be at every game supporting each other as much as we could!

Even though we got gross and sweaty on the field we sure cleaned up nice! We loved dancing the night away together at homecomings and spring formals over the years!

Mason graduated high school and went on to go to Harford Community College. Ever since high school his dream was to become a dentist and this was just the beginning of his journey!

Family vacations are some of our favorite memories! These always consisted of lots of games, good food, fun, and time to get closer with each others families!

Mason played as Harford's soccer goalie and Rachel finished up her senior year soccer season! Always cheering each other on!

Rachel graduated high school and knew she wanted to do an accelerated 5-year Physician Assistant program but wasn't sure what school she wanted to attend.

Then Rachel decided to go to King's in Wilkes Barre PA and facetime became our new best friend! (3 hours from home seemed far back then lol little did we know)

Covid came and stayed awhile but we made the most of it! We got really into running with Mason's family and did an 8 mile run from Rachel's house to Jersey Mikes!

We also did lots and lots (& I mean lots) of yardwork over covid. Rachel helped Mason's family completely change the landscaping around their house! We also got very good at cornhole!

More summers = more family vacations!

We have such a great group of friends from home! These people are amazing <3

This trip was one for the books! Outer banks in October was one of the most beautiful times to visit with great weather and memories!

Mason graduated from UMD College Park! He attended UMD for 2 years after HCC but due to covid only lived there his senior year. 2021 was filled with lots of studying and traveling from King's to UMD to visit eachother. Rachel went to California with her family this summer but Mason had to miss the trip due to studying for his DAT... but it all paid off because he got into 3 dental schools! He decided on Roseman Dental School in South Jordan, Utah!

Rachel cried a lot this summer dreading Mason leaving for school across the country... but we made the most out of our time together! We sure love our country concerts!

On this day Rachel's brother Jacob married Mary Joseph Acevedo. We were both blessed to be in the wedding party! Such a beautiful wedding!

Then we started our road trip moving Mas out to Utah! Mason, Rachel, and Mason's Mom drove straight through... 36 hours and one tire change later we made it!

We got Mason all moved in and furnished his apartment thanks to lots of stores and facebook Marketplace! Even though Utah is far, it truly is a beautiful place to live. Mas quickly made a lot of friends and a great church community which made it a bit easier for us both.

Now we started probably the hardest year of our lives so far. Rachel started her first semester of Physician Assistant school while Mason started his first year of Dental School. These programs are no joke! We both worked super hard this year and called each other as much as we could even though of course not as much as we'd like.

Finally Rachel got a short 4-day break and caught a flight out to visit! Rachel got to meet all of Mason's friends, we hiked, ate at great restaurants, and enjoyed time together!

Then the BIGGEST day of the year! The day after Christmas! The day Mason PROPOSED! Mason made 6 shadow boxes full of memories, notes, tickets, and pictures that he had kept from over the years and had our siblings read notes to Rachel as she walked through main street of Bel Air. Mason was waiting at the end by the fountain which was all lit up. It was truly the most perfect proposal and Rachel was most definitely surprised!

Rachel was able to make another trip out to Utah but this time it included some skiing!! We went to Deer Valley with Mason's friends which had some of the most beautiful views we'd ever seen.

Somehow Mason was able to skip a few days of school and fly in for Rachel's commencement ball, Baccalaureate, and graduation! Rachel was sooo happy he was able to come!

This was truly a time for celebration after Rachel and her roommates finished their first 2 super intense semesters of PA school and officially graduated with her Bachelors! Wouldn't have done it without these girls!<3

While Rachel was taking PA classes all summer in Wilkes Barre, Mason planned a last minute visit! We love our picnic dates:)

Mason flew home in late July to cross off his bucket list item of seeing Luke Combs in concert! Then Rachel was able to visit Mason in August during her week off in between summer classes and the start of her clinical rotations! A much needed vacation.

The long periods of time we have to go not seeing each other is truly hard but makes the time we get together so much more meaningful. God is good and Mason was able to come home this year for thanksgiving and Christmas for an extended break which was such a blessing! Even though distance is hard, it is worth it in every aspect to help us accomplish our dreams and establish roots for a beautiful life together. We are so thankful for all those who have been with us in our journey and can't wait to see what is to come!
