Venue Change

-Due to unforeseen circumstances, our reception venue on Saturday, 6/29/2024 is changing to The Englewood in Hummelstown (previously being held at The Pressroom in Lancaster)

-A shuttle will transport guests from the Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square to The Englewood and back after the event; please do not cancel your hotel room or else Jordan and Matt will have to cover the cost of your room due to our wedding block agreement

-We are asking all guests to please take 1 minute to fill out this form (https://forms.gle/fGf15ZTQAGAwHDhq7) by Saturday, 6/22/2024 to acknowledge you've seen this update

Additional Details: The Englewood

-The event will still be held from 5:00 PM–11:00 PM

-The Englewood's address is: 1219 West End Avenue

Hummelstown, PA 17036 | Google Maps Link

-Attire is still Semi-Formal / Dressy Casual

-The evening will still go on as planned, including a night of eating, drinking and dancing. The reception will begin with a happy hour in the lobby/patio followed by food stations and dancing inside

Additional Details: The Marriott/Shuttle

-The earliest guaranteed check-in time at the Marriott is 4pm. While there's a chance your room will be available earlier, it is not guaranteed until 4pm. Please plan accordingly for getting your bags to your room and getting ready for the reception.

- There will be two buses at the Vine Street pickup point at The Marriott; one 56 passenger bus and one 26 passenger bus. Loading begins at 4pm, and the first bus will leave once filled. The second bus will leave at 4:30pm at the latest (or once everyone has boarded).

-Our reception ends at 11pm, and the buses will depart shortly after. While we hope everyone will stay for the entire event, one bus will make a trip back around 9pm in case there is anyone who wants to return early. There will be space for all guests to take the shuttle back at 11pm, so there is no pressure to leave early.

-Our friend Jonathan Fellin has graciously agreed to be the shuttle coordinator to ensure no one misses the shuttle. Please make sure to check-in with Jonathan as you board the shuttle. He has everyone's contact information, and if you need to get in touch with him, his number is 570-441-1677.

-Guests do not need to be staying at the Marriott in order to use the shuttle

Q + A

Why did the location change?

While we were excited to have our reception at The Pressroom in Lancaster, we were recently informed by ownership they would no longer be able to host our event due to a conflict with the landlord. Thankfully we were able to work with The Englewood to book our event on short notice and still have the wedding reception of our dreams!

Should I cancel my hotel room?

No, please do not cancel your hotel room. Jordan and Matt have an agreement with the Marriott to book a certain number of rooms, and if anyone cancels at this point Jordan and Matt would be financially responsible for covering the cost of your room. So sit back and enjoy the shuttle and your night away from home!

Is there anything still happening in Lancaster?

YES! If you're in Lancaster on Saturday afternoon, feel free to drop by Rural City Taproom to join a few friends that plan on hanging out. While this is not an officially organized event as part of the wedding, guests are welcome to stop by to grab a drink or bite to eat. The taproom is less than one block from the hotel, making it a great place to hang out before hopping on the shuttle. The area around Penn Square has many food, drink, coffee, and dessert options and guests are welcome to use the time before the reception to explore and enjoy the city! There will also be an afterparty for any guests who are ready to keep the party going upon the return to Lancaster!

I already RSVP'd, why do I need to fill out another form?

Given the last minute nature of the change, Jordan and Matt need confirmation from all guests that they have seen the venue change. In addition, the shuttle company needs a count of how many people will be taking the shuttle.
