We are so excited to see you on our big day! Here is some general information to keep in mind:

Our ceremony will start at 4pm, but please arrive no later than 3:30 to park, get a drink, and find somewhere to sit. Folks are welcome to arrive earlier if you want to play a lawn game, catch up with friends/family, or just sit and watch the river. After the ceremony we'll have appetizers, mingling, and games followed by a BBQ dinner, cake, dancing, and maybe one or two surprises along the way.

TRAFFIC

Traffic on Hwy 2, particularly between Monroe and Gold Bar, can be heavy on the weekends. Add an additional 30 minutes to your travel time to accommodate for this potential delay. If you're late, everyone will know and will stare at you while you walk up to the ceremony. That would be awkward...

PARKING

Parking on site and nearby is a bit limited, so please carpool if possible. We're reserving parking on the venue for folks who are bringing some deliverables for us, people who have lived long enough to opt out of walking further, and the wedding party. If we have not told you otherwise, please park in the lower park of the parking lot of the Mt. Index Sand Bar. The walk to our venue is ~1/8 of a mile (that's only 300 steps) and we'll have a sign at the entrance so you won't get lost. Please see the map below.

FYI

Our wedding is BYOB! Feel free to bring your favorite alcoholic beverage. We will provide coolers, ice, wine glasses, and bottle openers. We will also provide plenty of non-alcoholic options as well!

ATTIRE

For attire, wear something in the "dressy casual" category (summer dresses, blouses, flowy skirts, dress pants, button up shirts, suit/sports coat optional). The ceremony and reception are both outside on grass, so plan accordingly with your footwear. The temperature will likely be in the 80's during the day but you should bring a warm layer for the evening as the temperature will drop into the 60's.

REHEARSAL DINNER

Lastly, if you are in the area the evening before our wedding, please feel free to join us for a casual "friends and family" rehearsal dinner at Wild Sky Ranch! A local taco truck will provide food and beverages starting between 5 and 5:30pm
