Getting to the wedding
How do you recommend getting to Sinalunga?
Flights to Rome will be the easiest option, though there are occasional flights to Florence. From Rome, a train to Florence/Siena is typically the best combo of ease, comfort, and cost. Once in either Florence or Siena, you can take a train to Sinalunga or rent a car. Please note that Sinalunga is a small town with limited transportation options. See more information below, and don't hesitate to reach out with questions!
Once you're in Italy, you have two main options to get to the venue: renting a car or taking the train. Renting a car is the most flexible option, especially once you're in the countryside.
Route A: Rent a car in Rome and drive directly to Sinalunga. This drive takes about 2.5 to 3 hours and is the most direct route.
Route B: Take a train from Rome to Florence (about 1.5 hours), then rent a car and drive to Sinalunga (about 1.5 to 2 hours). This option helps you avoid Rome traffic and splits up the trip.
Route C: Take a train from Rome to Siena (about 3 hours), then rent a car and drive to Sinalunga (less than 1 hour). This is a good option if you plan to visit Siena before the wedding.
Route D: Take a local train from Rome or Florence directly to Sinalunga. Both routes take about 2.5 hours. Keep in mind that transit options in Sinalunga are limited, so you may still need to arrange a taxi or car from the station.
The villa has plenty of parking available. We’ll share more detailed transportation info closer to the date, but feel free to reach out with any questions.

About The Wedding
When and where is the wedding?
The wedding is September 1, 2026, beginning at 5pm. It will take place at Villa Castelletto, a villa just outside the town of Sinalunga, in the Tuscan region of Italy. Sinalunga is about a 2 and a 1/2 hour drive from Rome with light traffic.
What Time Should I Arrive For The Ceremony?
The ceremony will start at 5:00 pm. Please arrive 15 minutes early if you wish to attend.
What Is The Dress Code?
Garden formal attire blends formal events with a relaxed, outdoor aesthetic. For women, this could mean a midi or maxi dress in a light color or floral print. Men can opt for a light-colored suit or a blazer paired with chinos or dress pants. The key is to choose comfortable and stylish attire suitable for a warm outdoor setting.
Will the be an open bar?
Yes, there will! Please plan a safe way home after the wedding.
Can I bring my children to the wedding?
While we truly love your little ones, our preference is for an adults-only celebration. That said, we completely understand that planning a destination wedding makes things a bit trickier. If you're planning to travel with your children, please send us a message directly—we're happy to chat and figure things out together!
