WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Ladies can wear floor-length, tea-length, or midi formal dresses, or dress pants. Gentlemen can wear dress pants and a collared shirt. Just no jeans, please!

CAN I BRING A DATE?

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you receive a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for your understanding!

WILL THERE BE A BAR?

Yes! Beer, wine, liquor, and non-alcoholic beverages are on us!

WILL THE WEDDING TAKE PLACE INDOORS OR OUTSIDE?

The ceremony and reception will both take place indoors.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I CAN'T MAKE IT?

You will be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate your regrets on our RSVP tab so we can plan accordingly.

CAN I TAKE PICTURES?

We are having an "unplugged ceremony". This just means that all phones and devices are put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony. The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say, "I do". We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!

CAN I BRING MY OWN ADULT BEVERAGES?

We will be supplying alcohol and have a bar tending service who will be handling the beverages. Due to venue policy and regulations, you are not allowed to bring any other alcoholic beverages on the premises.

ARE THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION IN THE SAME PLACE?

No, the ceremony is at Harbor Life Church in Grandville and the reception is at Boatwerks in Holland, Michigan.

WHAT IS THE RSVP DEADLINE?

We need to have your RSVPs by May 22, but the earlier the better!

CAN I BRING MY KIDS?

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception adults-only, unless specified on your invitations. We encourage you to use this as a date night to relax, socialize, and dance! Thank you for understanding!

WHAT IF I FORGET TO RSVP?

If we do not receive an RSVP back by May 22, we unfortunately will be marking your party as a no. We will miss you celebrating with us however, we have to provide a total guest count to the venue in a timely manner and we cannot accept late RSVP's due to this. We appreciate the understanding!

PLEASE BRING YOUR ID!

As per Boatwerks policy, IDs will be checked for anyone who appears to be under 40 each time they approach the bar. Be sure to bring your ID so you can enjoy our open bar!
