Weather in October can be variable, ranging from low 20°C to -5°C at night time. Given the date, we are hoping for the former but we are making sure the main events are indoors in case of a cold day.

Public Transport in Lithuania
Vilnius is generally a very walkable city with majority of tourist attractions / bars / restaurants concentrated in the Old Town. There are regular buses and trams in the city but we recommend using Uber or Bolt which both provide cheap transport options, with the latter being a slightly more popular service.
The intercity trains and buses are relatively infrequent and tend to make a lot of stops along the route hence for sightseeing trips outside of the capital we recommend hiring a car.
What time do the restaurants and bars close?
Most restaurants in Vilnius stop serving food around 10pm with bars generally open until at least 2am on the weekends.
