The hotel has plenty of parking, so please park at the Venue.
Are phones and cameras allowed at the event?
We ask that you leave phones off or on silent during the ceremony, we will also have a no phones and cameras rule during the ceremony and part of the reception as we will have our own photographers and videographers and would like to avoid seeing phones in our pictures and film.
How can I see your Wedding photos and video?
There will be a card placed on your tables during the reception containing a password for you to view the pictures of our special day. You may buy these from the website or we can send you high quality digital copies when we receive these. Videos we will share with you when we have these available to us, again as a digital copy.
Using Sat Nav to get to and from the Venue.
Please be aware the signal is poor in the area. You will need to set your navigation up with the free Wifi when leaving us as well as before you reach Sharpthorne.
Can we explore the grounds?
Yes, but we do ask that you wait until after the photographs have been taken out on the rear lawn.
Can I bring a plus one?
Due to limits on space at the Venue, we will not be able to accommodate additional guests unless specifically stated on your invitation. Children under 10 will unfortunately not be allowed to attend the ceremony or evening events unless they are close family and specifically invited.
How does the bar work? (most important of course)
Guests are provided with drinks for the toasts and for the wedding breakfast however there are two bars at the venue available to purchase further drinks. One is located at the entrance, which will close during and after the ceremony, and the second will be open in the reception room.
Taxi and closing of event
Wifi is available for you to book a taxi. The event will finish between 12:00am - 12:30am so please make sure you have a ride arranged before this time.
Confetti
Flower petal confetti will be provided for you by us. The venue are a heritage site, so we are not allowed to use plastic, paper or rice at the venue. This includes confetti cannons.
