Matthew & Brianna first met on Hinge during COVID-19 and had their first date at Quattro's in Guilford, CT on February 13, 2021. At the time, Brianna was finishing up her senior year at Quinnipiac University and Matthew had just finished up his police training at West Haven PD. It was absolute love at first sight. Even so, Matthew had asked Brianna for a second date, the very next day for Valentine's Day. From there they went on four dates in one week and were dating by the next!

Three years later, and on April 21, 2024 (Brianna's 25th birthday), Matthew got down on one knee and asked Brianna to marry him. They were away on their first cruise together for her birthday when Matthew had photographers staged on the top deck and their song playing in the background. Matthew expressed all the things he loves about Brianna and with an undeniable YES, Brianna said yes to forever!
