Our venue, The Barn at Hamner Ridge is not heated or airconditioned, so please wear appropriate clothing for the weather. In addition, we would recommend to NOT wear high heels. There is a short (aprox .2 mile) walk to the ceremony space on gravel.
We would request that all guests follow a Semi-Formal Attire for our wedding!
Is there handicap accessible spaces?
Yes, The Barn at Hamner Ridge provides a limited number of handicap spaces.
Although the ceremony space is a short walk from the parking lot through gravel, they will have a golf cart shuttle for anyone needed extra assistance to the ceremony space and back up to the barn.
The golf cart shuttle will start approx. 1 hour prior to the ceremony and end approx. 30 minutes to an hour after the ceremony.
Will there be alcohol?
We will be having a dry wedding. There will be basic drinks available such as water, tea, and lemonade, but no Alcoholic beverages.
The venue does not allow outside alcohol to be brought into their property, so we ask you respect their rules as well as our wishes for an alcohol-free wedding.
Where is the Venue Located?
The Barn at Hamner Ridge is located at 6315 Hucklebuck Lane, Ediburgh, IN 46124.
The easiest way to get to the event from Greenwood or Indianapolis is to get on Interstate 65 South and drive to Edinburgh Exit 80 where you need to get off and take a left turn. Any navigation system or app should give you accurate directions to the Barn at Hamner Ridge!
Is there designated parking?
Yes! The Barn at Hamner Ridge has a designated private parking lot for the wedding. Please follow the parking attendant's request as you enter the parking lot.
They will direct you to the ceremony site, just a short walk down the gravel road you drove in on. As this is a short walk down a gravel pathway, we Do Not recommend high heels.
Are the ceremony and reception in the same place?
Yes! Both will be held at the Barn at Hamner Ridge. The Barn has multiple spaces for wedding ceremonies. We will be having the ceremony in the Woodlands just a short walk down a gravel road from the reception barn. There will be event staff there to guide you on your walk from the parking lot to the ceremony site.
If you are in need of a golf cart shuttle, please let the parking attendant know and they will be shuttling from the parking lot to the ceremony site up to an hour before the wedding ceremony starts. After the completion of the ceremony, the shuttle will run for approximately 30 minutes to one hour up to the barn for the reception.
