Kent Island is home to some of the best seafood in the country, including abundant Maryland Blue Crabs 🦀 and Chesapeake Oysters 🦪. We particularly recommend the following local seafood places:
1. Harris Crab House (433 Kent Narrow Way N, Grasonville, MD 21638) - Traditional Crab House in the Kent Narrows, serving crab imperial, soft-shell crab, and many other crab specialties, as well at Atlantic Flounder and other local seafood options.
2. Fisherman’s Inn (3116 Main St, Grasonville, MD 21638) - a nearly century-old landmark with panoramic views of the water. The menu includes lobster, rockfish, and other local highlights, as well as other non-seafood options.
3. Bridges Restaurant (321 Wells Cove Rd, Grasonville, MD 21638) - known for seafood, small plates, and pizza, plus a full bar, deck, and dock with views of the sunset.
Love Point is a vineyard on the northern tip of Kent Island with wine tasting and a great view of the Bay!
Across the Eastern Shore are the famous Maryland (Ocean City, Sandy Point, Assateague Island) and Delaware Beaches (Rehoboth, Bethany, Lewes, Dewey). Each has their own beach town and boardwalk! Be warned that travel to the beaches in June can get crowded at peak hours.
