Book ahead! Especially if you are arriving Saturday. Arrive early (an hour is good) park and check in, and walk to the general store, cafe, or just take in the harbor. This is the longest drive from south, but the easiest boat ride. They are the year round boat and the only one we ride (and work with for the store)!

It would be great for you to come on an early boat, but you will not be able to check into where you are staying until the afternoon.

A truck for the hotel you are staying at will be waiting on the dock. Some charge per bag and some include it with your stay. It is customary to tip the truck drivers (this was once Jacob's job!).

Same as the others- Book early, particularly Saturday. Arrive an hour early. New Harbor is just a little further than Boothbay, but a smoother and shorter boat ride. A cute town, the boatline is under new ownership.
