What time is the Ceremony?

The Ceremony will be held on the North Side beach at the Deauville Inn at 4:30pm. Guests should arrive from 4-4:20pm. Guests will enter the ceremony by walking directly from the parking lot & through the fence that will lead to the sand and sea.

Where can I park?

The Deauville Inn offers complimentary valet services. If you would like to utilize the valet service, it will operate on a first come first serve basis. If you will not be using the valet, it is recommended that you give yourself extra time to find street parking before the ceremony.

What is a Cocktail Style Reception?

A cocktail reception is a type of reception where no formal sit down meal is served and instead, guests indulge in a variety of hors d’oeuvres, as well as cold stations and Chef Attended stations. There is still a timeline, after all, but this style of an event frees up the evening for more time to socialize and celebrate. And dance. DUH

What should I expect at a Cocktail Style Reception?

The reception space is adorned with lounge areas, cocktail tables, dinner seating, and food stations, encouraging guests to wander and explore the culinary offerings at your own pace. There will still, of course, be seating for everyone, as every guest will need a “home base,” somewhere to rest your purse, your jacket, or your feet after tearing it up on the dance floor, etc.

Will there be transportation at the end of the evening?

Yes! We want everyone to take great care in getting home for the night safely, and we will be providing transportation shuttles to make runs to & from the Scarborough Inn at the end of the evening.

Will the Deauville Inn still be open on the day of the wedding?

Yes! The restaurant itself will still be open to the public, as it is a pillar of the beach community. Our guests are free to access any area of the restaurant; however, the public will be blocked off from accessing the reserved ceremony & reception spaces.

If this is a beach wedding … do I have to wear shoes?

The ceremony is shoes optional! Wear whatever makes you comfortable on the sand; there will be a ‘shoe valet’ upon arrival to the ceremony. The reception will be under a tented patio, so if your heels complete the look then you can still rock them later in the evening :)
