For those from out of town
We are so grateful that you've chosen to travel to Atlanta for our big day! Our wedding will take place in Cumming, GA, about 45 minutes north east of Atlanta. We encourage our guests to explore the Alpharetta area, about 20 minutes away, for lots of fun things to do during your time here.
Below are some of our recommendations for both the Alpharetta and Atlanta areas. Be sure to check out our food recommendations too...you won't be sorry!
Exploring Apharetta
Downtown Alpharetta
Downtown Alpharetta is filled with charming streets and yummy places to eat. Some of our favorite spots are Up on the Roof (Southern dining), Roaring Social (games and drinks), and Valor Coffee.
Avalon
For our guests looking for an outdoor mall experience, Avalon offers plenty of stores, restaurants, and activities. Some of Ben's favorite places to shop here are Peter Millar and Orvis. Some of Maya's favorites are Anthropologie and Lululemon.
Exploring Atlanta
The Atlanta Beltline
Maya's favorite weekend activity is to walk on the Atlanta Beltline, and she asks Ben to go with her a few times a month. The Beltline offers miles and miles of paved walkway with beautiful views of the Atlanta skyline. Be sure to stop by Ponce City Market (and see Ben and Maya's office building right across the street!) and Krog Street Market.

Delbar (Middle Eastern, Atlanta)
Where Ben told Maya she was the one! There is another location in Alpharetta.
The Local (Wings, Atlanta)
The best wings in Atlanta. Ben and Maya love to go here on Friday nights right after work.
Brooklyn Bagel & Deli (Bagels, Atlanta)
We're on the hunt for the best bagel in Atlanta and this is one of the best spots we've found!
The Chastain (New American, Buckhead)
This farm to table restaurant has a Green Michelin star for their fresh and sustainably sourced food (our personal favorite is the cheeseburger)
Brash (Coffee shop, atlanta)
This is our very favorite place to get coffee on the weekends and Maya goes way too often (3 minute walk from her apartment).
