Maya and Marcus are excited to start the next chapter of their endorphin filled life. This relationship has been built from the combined love of the outdoors, running, cycling, hiking and many adventures in between. When they first met, Maya was training for her first half ironman and Marcus was just getting into the competitive cycling scene. Many dates were spent running together, biking around lakes and being support crew for each other at races. It was so special for both of them to be able to have a partner who valued their hobbies and could keep up. In the Fall of 2018, Maya left Rochester to pursue medical school, a lifetime dream of hers that Marcus supports more than anyone else. They made the decision to not let a few years of distance prevent them from planning a future together. Sure enough, a couple months later Marcus got down on one knee in Pittsburgh, PA (next to the Mr. Roger's statue) with a very excited Maya shouting yes before he could even ask the question.
