We both swiped right!

Mayra grew up in Buffalo Grove, IL and Brian in Bartlett, IL. After college Brian landed his first Accountant job at a company in Deerfield, IL. The commute from Bartlett to Deerfield was getting too exhausting and Brian decided to buy a condo in Buffalo Grove. (Little did he know he would be meeting the love of his life in this town!)

One night in August of 2020, Mayra and Brian found each other on Hinge. About a week after matching Brian mentioned that he was craving Cooper's Hawk and wine, and invited Mayra out to dinner there.

During this time, due to covid, they were seated at a table outside. The night was beautiful, conversations were fun, and sparks were flying! It was the perfect first date. The next three years were full of vacations, gaming, movies, laughter, love, and special memories.

On Valentines Day, 2024, Brian invited Mayra for dinner, but did not mention where. He surprised her with Cooper's Hawk and it was there, where he popped the question on the very spot the outdoor table was on their first date.
