I met Kortney when she became my big sister when I joined our sorority, Alpha Omicron Pi, at Chico State. We bonded over our matching RBF (resting bitch face) and love of crafting, wine, and true crime. Kortney is an amazing listener, gives great advice, and has become my person. Kortney actually introduced me to Arthur, so we owe her!

Katie and Kortney came as a package deal because Katie is Kortney's big sister in our sorority, and wow did I get lucky! Katie and I have very similar personalities (we're both spicy and not afraid to speak our minds) and we instantly clicked. If I need a fun night out, Katie would be my first call.

Caitlyn is my little sister and I'm so glad she could be a part of my wedding. Even though we used to fight tooth and nail when we were younger, as we got older we developed a deeper bond that can only exist between siblings. She is the smartest person I know, kind, compassionate, and my personal hero.

I met Colette while she and Kortney were roommates. Some of our most memorable times together include going to Snowglobe Music Festival in Tahoe and freezing our asses off, frequent Wine Wednesdays, and hanging out while our boyfriends played beer die in the backyard. Colette always knows how to make me laugh and isn't afraid to give me a reality check when I need one!  

Payton is my beautiful, smart, and amazing niece! When she was little I loved dressing her up in princess outfits and carrying her around, and now she's taller than I am! I was the flower girl in her mom's (my sister) wedding and now she gets to be a part of mine! 

During the second semester of his freshman year at college, Arthur joined Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity, where he met Jimmy. After hanging out at a few of the chapter’s parties, the two really hit it off and Arthur decided he wanted Jimmy as his big brother. The two have a similar taste in music, and have attended multiple shows together over the years. Jimmy’s upbeat yet sassy personality is great to be around, and makes any event a fun time!

Two crazy high school graduates attend Chico State, and the university decides to put them on the same dorm floor together...what could go wrong? Well, that is exactly what happened when Arthur and Clarke met freshman year at Chico. After attending multiple classes and parties together over the first semester, the two decided to become roommates the following year. Clarke and Arthur share a love of the outdoors, whether that be hiking, hunting, or fishing. They both also love football, and hardly miss a chance to rip on the other’s favorite team.

Arthur met Christian his freshman year at Chico through Clarke. Clarke’s high school friend roomed with Christian, and the two of them went over to their place often. The two became much closer the following year, when Arthur and Clarke would go over to Christian’s house for parties and hanging out. We both share a love of going on hikes, and finding cool spots in nature. Christian’s sense of humor is matched only by his innate ability to think of “would you rather” questions, and will make a great addition to the wedding party.

Arthur met Nick during his freshman year at Los Altos High School during a free period in the music room. They instantly bonded over being yelled at by the music teacher for playing music in the music room. They continued hanging out and became close friends, and participated in a few musical projects together. Both share a love for All Time Low, and other pop punk bands, whose concerts they frequented throughout high school.

Arthur met Cody his freshman year, mostly in passing, when Cody and his friend group would yell out “Bruno!” whenever I passed by, referring to the Sacha Baron Cohen character whom I apparently resembled, according to them. Despite the mild bullying, Arthur got to know Cody through Nick, and they quickly became friends. Both share a love of music, especially punk rock, and both played in a few bands together throughout high school. Some of the best memories with Cody were from the countless band practices at Arthur’s and Cody’s houses, as well as the multiple BFD concerts we’d attend in the summers.

Maya is McKenna’s youngest cousin and they have had a very special bond since the day Maya was born. McKenna has loved watching her grow up into the beautiful woman she is today. McKenna was the flower girl at her mom’s wedding and it’s an honor that she will have the same role in our wedding!

Quinton, or as we like to call him, Q, is McKenna’s nephew. He is smart, hilarious, and a badass golf player. When he was little, McKenna loved babysitting him and Q helped inspire McKenna’s love for teaching. Even though he’s almost all grown up and in high school, he still gives the best hugs and snuggles!
