Hi Friends &amp; Family,&nbsp; We are so excited to welcome you all to our wedding in Ireland this summer and have an important message for you. In late November, we had a scheduled call with our venue Carton House to continue planning the wedding. On this call, they informed us that the Women’s Irish Open, which is contracted to take place at Carton House, has shifted dates to the same weekend as the wedding. The Women's Irish Open is a popular event, attracting 40,000 people over its 4 days last year, so we wanted to let you all know this ahead of time so that you can secure accommodation wherever is best for you.&nbsp; The last months have been spent in many early morning meetings with everyone from our venue coordinator to the general manager, coming up with solutions so that the wedding could proceed at this venue. Fortunately, Carton House has worked with us extensively to re-plan each event in order to move forward. Concessions have been made by Carton House and we are happy to offer the following to our guests:&nbsp; - All wedding guests will receive our special room rate of €295/night. Our block is from June 28th - July 8th.&nbsp;To book a room, please email&nbsp;claire.byrne@fairmont.com. - All wedding guests will receive complimentary tickets to the Women's Irish Open for all 4 days.&nbsp; Updated information for each event is now posted <a href="https://www.theknot.com/us/mckenzie-johnson-and-patrick-stafford-jul-2025/schedule-of-events" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">here</a>.&nbsp; We know that a destination wedding in Ireland is a lot to ask of our loved ones in America and we completely understand if you have decided not to attend. Please let McKenzie or Patrick know, or RSVP on our website. We will send out formal invitations soon. We will also be hosting a reception in Southlake, Texas in early fall of this year, for anyone based in the US who would like to celebrate without the journey to Ireland.
