Where should I stay?
We have a hotel block at the Hyatt Centric Waikiki Beach Hotel. You can find our booking link in the travel tab. We will have a shuttle set up for guest to use to get to and from the venue. Waikiki is the easiest place to get an uber/lyft.
Are Air BnB's and VRBO's an option?
Of course! Just be aware that Hawaii has strict laws around Air Bnbs and VRBOs so if you choose to go this route ensure your listing has a license number or registration number in the description.
Do we have to stay at the hotel to use the shuttle to and from the venue?
No. Any of our guests are welcome to use the shuttle, just be sure to indicate your plans when you RSVP and plan to be picked up and dropped off at the Hyatt Centric Waikiki Beach Hotel.
What is the shuttle pick-up location?
The shuttle pick-up and drop off location is the Hyatt Centric Waikiki Beach Hotel. The shuttle will depart the hotel to the venue at 3:00pm. The shuttle will leave Paliku Gardens for the hotel at 10:00pm.
What happens if I miss the Waikiki shuttle?
If you miss the shuttle, you will need to find your own transportation to the venue. Uber and Lyfts to Kualoa Ranch can cost $100+.
Is the ceremony and reception at the same place?
Yes, both the ceremony and reception are at Kualoa Ranch - Paliku Gardens.
Are the wedding day events indoors or outdoors?
All wedding day events are outdoor! There are covered areas in case of rainy weather.
What is the dress code?
Cocktail attire. Aloha wear is optional. (While in Hawaiʻi, authentic aloha wear is widely accepted as semi formal to business attire depending on quality. Here are some good recommendations if you are from the States but would like to opt for aloha wear: https://www.reynspooner.com or https://manuhealii.com)
Can I get a +1?
Your invitation will indicate if you have a plus 1. If there are any uncertainties, please contact McKenzie or Lennon.
Whats the bar situation?
We will have a fully hosted bar! So please drink responsibly and coordinate your transportation accordingly.
Where to park at Kualoa Ranch?
Using any GPS navigation application, type in Paliku Gardens at Kualoa Ranch, and follow that route provided to the guest parking. If this does not show up, type in 49-560 Kamehameha Hwy. Kaneohe, HI 96744.
When you turn into the Ranch parking lot KEEP LEFT at the fork (it is not a one- way road). Continue driving through the parking lot up the hill labeled with the sign “Authorized
Vehicles Only” to the right (there are usually green ranch buses parked near this road). Carefully follow this road to the top of the hill, over the Horse Crossing (there are often
many ranch guests, vehicles, and horses in this area. Please be mindful of your speed). Follow the road to the top of the hill, veering up the right-hand side to the labeled “Guest Parking” areas. You may park in any of the labeled grassy lots.
