The day we met. Meagan had been working at the Alliance Refinery (south of New Orleans) since 2015. Brian started working at the Rodeo Refinery (near San Francisco) in 2012, transferred to Houston in 2014, and then took a job offer at the Alliance Refinery in 2018. Little did he know he'd meet a cute girl that also happened to work at that same refinery.

The first date. This was a long time coming. Meagan had a strict "no dating coworkers" personal policy, so Brian had to work extra hard to convince her to date him. He was persistent though, and it was worth it. On our first official date, we went to tons of different places around the CBD. (Which is the Central Business District of New Orleans). We started at a restaurant called Seaworthy, went to the wine bar Copper Vine, then ended up at Pisco Bar in the Catahoula Hotel. We had a couple of pisco sours, then decided to check out the rooftop bar at the Catahoula. To our surprise, there was a Latin dance night happening on the roof. We had no idea what we were doing, but we joined in on the dancing and had so much fun! We've been together ever since.

The first vacation. Brian and Meagan made some incredible friends at Alliance. (Many of which are now in our wedding party!). In September of 2019, we went on our first vacation as a couple with some of our Alliance friends. We spent a few days in Disney World and a few in Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. We've made the same trip with the same friends several years since.

The first Mardi Gras ball together. Fun fact: Brian was working night shifts at the refinery for the first three months of 2020. His schedule was 13 nights on, one off...on repeat for 90 days. He missed out on all of the Mardi Gras parades/activities that year, but his one night off happened to line up with this ball! We rented some fancy outfits and had the best time.

The first home. We instantly fell in love with this perfect little house in the Irish Channel. It was within walking distance from our favorite brewery, had off-street parking (which is HUGE in NOLA!!), and the best backyard space. We wish we would have had more time to enjoy it.

The change of plans. This is the day that Hurricane Ida hit New Orleans, destroying the Alliance Refinery. We were unsure what the future held. Luckily, not long after, our company offered us both the chance to relocate to Billings, Montana. This is a picture of us on our first visit to Billings together, where our next chapter began!

The first Mardi Gras parade together. Even after moving out of New Orleans, we were fortunate enough to ride in the Krewe of King Arthur together! Meagan was a seasoned Mardi Gras parade rider at this point, but this was the first time Brian got to experience the joy of riding! We were so happy to be traveling back to New Orleans so soon after leaving.

The second home (and first torrential downpour of snow). About two weeks after we moved into our Billings house, we got 12+" of snow in one day. The Texas and California natives had no idea what to do with their driveway. Meagan immediately wanted to buy a flamethrower.

The (spoiled) dog. This is Tommy! We adopted him from Rez Dog Rescue after living in Montana for about a year...and our lives haven't been boring since! He's a crazy, energetic, goofball that likes to chew on things he shouldn't (like the ornaments on that Mardi Gras tree in the background).

The proposal. For the past twelve or so years, Brian and his college friends have planned a trip for NYE to various parts of California. This time was the third year Meagan tagged along with the group. We rented a gorgeous AirBnb on a private vineyard in Placerville, CA. During the trip, we channeled our inner Bob Ross with landscape paintings, competed in Beer-lympics, and explored the beautiful property. However, right before sundown on NYE, our group of friends gathered for another friendly game: a scavenger hunt. At least, that's what Meagan thought. It turns out, Brian (with the help of his WONDERFUL friends) had something else planned entirely. While the members of Meagan's "team" searched throughout the house for clues - and kept her thoroughly distracted - Brian and his team went upstairs to search for their first "clue," grabbed supplies, and ran outside to set up for a surprise proposal. When Meagan found her team's last clue, it led her outside to the vineyard, where Brian was waiting at the bottom of a candle-lined stairway. He got down on one knee, popped the question, and champagne was poured!

The wedding. Set exactly 6 years after our first date. We are so excited to celebrate with all of you in the city where we first met and fell in love. We hope you're ready to party til the sun comes up!
