TRANSPORTATION WILL BE PROVIDED TO/FROM THE WEDDING CEREMONY

Transportation will be provided on Saturday afternoon to and from the wedding ceremony. All buses will arrive at the hotels to begin loading at 1:00 and depart at 1:15. This allows guests time to be seated for a 2:00 ceremony start time.The buses will take guests back to hotels after the ceremony has concluded.

Wedding Party

Like any great love story that starts in Baltimore, a Ravens football game is at the center of it all. Of course, this isn’t the fairytale that either had envisioned because Meg is not exactly a football enthusiast and Craig loves The Giants. But looking back, neither of them would change a thing about that perfect, beautiful Sunday afternoon in 2016.&nbsp;&nbsp;Now, before all the credit is given to a bunch of strangers in purple jerseys, Meg’s best girlfriends are the ones to thank.&nbsp;&nbsp;Unbeknownst to Meg, one of the girls had already planned on introducing her to Craig. However, as fate would have it, Meg made her own introduction at the concession stand at halftime. She spilled her drinks on Craig and when he responded with a witty remark making her laugh hysterically, she was hooked.&nbsp;Meg and Craig had their first date at Loch Bar. They sat outside and laughed all night while Craig ordered the best things on the menu. To this day, Meg loves when Craig orders because he always picks fun things to try that surprisingly satisfy her selective palette.&nbsp;&nbsp;Right away Meg and Craig celebrated many important milestones together: Meg graduated nursing school and started her first job as a registered nurse; Craig bought his first house; Craig introduced Meg to both the Gettysburg and Toms River crews; and they got their first dog together, Morris. In between all of that excitement, they celebrated their first Christmas in Miami, followed by a group trip to Puerto Rico, and then a wedding in Mexico. Not only did they discover a shared passion for traveling and exploring, but also the same&nbsp;style&nbsp;when it comes to traveling. Craig had no idea that the trip to Miami eight years ago would set the bar extremely high for all future vacations – just ask about their most recent trip to Croatia!&nbsp;For a time, Meg and Craig went their separate ways to continue growing as individuals. However, both were certain that their story would not end there. Secretly, each of them had already told their mothers that they would marry the other one day. Craig and Meg would eventually find their way back to each other as the best versions of themselves - ready to spend forever together! As many problems as their dog Morris has caused, he remained a binding element between the two as they co-parented the rascal.&nbsp; Meg and Craig are over the moon to be getting married and continuing their love story! A special thanks to all our families and friends who have cheered us on and continue to support our commitment to each other.

Embassy Suites by Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort

All hotels are subject to a daily resort fee of $25.00 per room per night. This fee covers a multitude of amenities available to our guests. When booking in the room block please note it is a two night minimum with a check in date of Friday November 22, 2024 and check out date Sunday November 24, 2024.Please note you are welcome to explore other booking opportunities outside of our event room block.

Parking

Cavalier Parking PolicyValet parking is available for day as well as overnight guests, as self-parking is not an option. Event parking is $5.00 when available. Overnight parking is $30.00 per day/night with unlimited in/out privileges. Embassy &amp; Marriott Parking PolicyA parking garage is located on resort property. Self-parking is $20.00 per car per night for overnight guests. Day Guest self-parking is $3.00 per hour. Valet parking is available to Embassy guests for an additional $10.00 per day.

Ride share options are available throughout the Virginia Beach area.

Plane, Train, or Automobile 

For those who prefer to fly, The Norfolk Airport (ORF) is only a thirty minute ride to The Cavalier, The Marriott, and Embassy Suites. If taking the train is your preferred mode of travel, Norfolk Station is about twenty-five minutes from the hotels!

Travel

Finally, to bring it all full circle, the church and boutique where Meg found her dress have some significance as well. St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church is where Meg was baptized as well as where she attended pre-school and kindergarten.Meg's dress came from Gamberdella, a boutique in Towson Maryland. This same store made the graduation gowns for Meg's class sixteen years ago!

Located at The Historic Cavalier, Becca's serves daily breakfast and weekend brunch.

Arbuckles

A breakfast buffet located at the Embassy Suites. It is included for Embassy guests and $20 for non-guests.

Doc Taylor's

A local, legendary staple at the oceanfront that serves breakfast and lunch as long as they are open. Fun fact, it used to be a pink motel and was named after the Virginia Beach Doc Taylor himself after he set up his residence and practice here.

Boardwalk diner &amp; bar offering Mediterranean comfort foods &amp; all-day breakfast.

Pocahontas Pancake House

Open since 1974, this cozy place has been voted "Best Pancake house in Virginia Beach" and we think you will agree.

Murphy's Irish Pub

An authentic Irish pub serving fresh ingredients grown from their family owned farm on try eastern shore. We highly recommend trying a burger by their cozy fireplace - which happens to be the largest four sided fireplace in Virginia Beach.Breakfast served on Saturday morning only from 9:00 - 11:00!
