WHAT IS THE RECOMMENDED DRESS CODE FOR YOUR WEDDING?

Recommended attire for our wedding is cocktail attire or formal wear. (We kindly request no jeans.)

INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?

Weather permitting, our ceremony will take place outdoors in the courtyard of Willowdale Estate. Cocktail hour will be hosted both indoors and outdoors, with the reception to follow under the tent.

CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE OR MY KIDS?

The invitation will specify the individuals who are invited to our wedding. Certain guests will be welcome to bring a plus one, although we are limiting this type of invitation. Children of family members are invited, but this is predominantly an adult celebration.

CAN I TAKE PICTURES WITH MY PHONE?

We kindly request that guests refrain from taking photos or videos with their phones during the ceremony. A professional photographer and videographer will be capturing those special moments, and we want to ensure they have the best opportunity to do so without any interference. However, feel free to use your phones to capture memories during the cocktail hour and reception!

WILL THERE BE ALCOHOL SERVED AT THE RECEPTION?

Yes, there will be a open bar during the cocktail hour, followed by a cash bar available for those who wish to partake. No outside liquor is allowed on the venue premises. We encourage our guests to please drink responsibly, and never drink and drive.

WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE THIS TIME OF YEAR?

For those out-of-state, New England typically experiences some of the finest weather the region has to offer with daytime temperatures averaging in the low to mid-70s Fahrenheit (around 23-24 degrees Celsius). Nights tend to be cooler, with temperatures dropping to the low 50s Fahrenheit (around 10-12 degrees Celsius). However, occasional rain showers are not uncommon, so it's always a good idea to check the forecast and be prepared with appropriate attire.

DO YOU HAVE A HOTEL BLOCK?

Yes, we have wedding blocks at two hotels. The Hampton Inn Boston / Peabody and the Best Western Plus North Shore Hotel in Danvers. Please reference the "Armstrong - Chang Wedding". Reserve your room no later than Wednesday, May 13, 2025, as the wedding block will expire. Click on the "Accommodation" tab to book your room.

IF THE ARMSTRONG - CHANG WEDDING BLOCK IS FULL AT HAMPTON INN BOSTON / PEABODY AND BEST WESTERN, ARE THERE OTHER HOTELS IN THE AREA?

WHAT ARE THE TIMELINES OF THE DAY?

Door opens at 4:00pm. Ceremony will begin at 4:30pm. Cocktail hour will follow at 5:00pm-6:00pm. Reception will begin at 6:00pm and end at 10:00pm.

IS THERE A FAREWELL BREAKFAST?

Yes! A Farewell Breakfast hosted by the Chang family will be:
