Our Wedding

Megan and Andy&nbsp;were introduced through a mutual friend and had their first date on April 10th, 2010.&nbsp; When they first met, Andy was home on R&R&nbsp;during his tour in Iraq but the two spent every following day together before he had to return.&nbsp; They continued their long distance relationship through the deployment and that August, Megan was able to travel to North Carolina for his home-coming.&nbsp; They knew the long-distance relationship was going to be hard but it was also going to be worth it.&nbsp; They endured a lot of difficult circumstances and&nbsp;another tour to Afghanistan but the&nbsp;quick weekend visits helped to pass time time. Fast forward several years later, Andy completed his time in the Army and was able to move back home, to Kansas City.&nbsp; Like every couple, they had their ups and downs, especially having never lived in the same city, but love prevailed and got them to where they are today. In August 2017, they bought their first home together.&nbsp; They have enjoyed decorating and caring for it to make it a home for themselves, along with Megan's daughter, Callie. On March 17th, 2018 (St. Patricks Day)... Megan, Andy and Callie went on a helicopter ride around downtown Kansas City.&nbsp; They must have had the luck of the Irish with them, because when Andy pulled a ring out of his pocket, Megan screamed with excitement.&nbsp; And Luckily... she said yes! The two set their wedding date for September 15, 2018 and they will live Happily Ever After... Finally!

Directions to the Ceremony at the Loose Park Rose Garden

Loose ParkFrom the South:

- Take I-35 North.



- Take exit 228B towards Shawnee Mission Parkway, heading East&nbsp;.&nbsp; Continue on 10.4 miles



- Turn Right/South onto Wornall Road.



- Turn Right/West onto 51st Street.



- Parking will be on the left.&nbsp; This is the North West corner of Loose Park



 



From the North:



- Take I-29 South/ US 71. 



-&nbsp; Take exit 190 towards Euclid Avenue, heading West.



- Continue onto Emanuel Cleaver II&nbsp;Boulevard.



-&nbsp; Turn Left/South onto Baltimore Avenue



- Turn Left/West onto Ward Parkway



- Turn Left/South onto Wornall Road.



- Turn Right/West onto 51st Street.



- Parking will be on the left.&nbsp; This is the North West corner of Loose Park

Directions to the Reception From the Ceremony

From the Ceremony - Approximately 8 Miles (14 Minutes)Priscilla and Dana's School of Dance

- Turn Left/North onto Wornall Road.

- Turn Left/West onto Ward Parkway.

- Turn Right/North onto Roanoke Parkway.

- Continue North onto Madison Avenue/SW&nbsp;Trafficway.

- Merge onto I-35 North.

- Take exit 2E toward MO-9

- Turn left/North onto MO-9 ramp and continue over The Heart of America Bridge.

-&nbsp; At the first stoplight, turn Left/East onto 10th Avenue.

- Location is on the left, same building as Regal Plastic.&nbsp; Door is at the far end of the parking lot, awning says Priscilla and Dana's School of Dance
