I met John on April 10th, 1995 while volunteering at a local high-security women's prison where he was doing hard time for loitering. Since then I've been his personal hero and role-model, and have led him on trips to Yosemite, Kings Canyon, Rocky Mountain, and Black Canyon National Parks. Thanks to the teachings of myself and Dr. Steve Brule, he has become a pretty good person and we are very proud of him. No but he's my brother and he's a hunk.

I met Emmy in middle school (in passing), but we truly became best friends in 9th grade after she made me join the swim team and we have been inseparable ever since. From our carpool adventures to & from swim practice, endless trips to Chili's, sleepovers in my basement, many adventures to the beach & Greece (twice), and our ability to relate everything in our life back to Friends or High School Musical it's no wonder we have remained best friends. Emmy even helped keep the biggest secret of all - the proposal (and took some pretty awesome pictures).

I met Abby the first day of middle school, because we found out that our birthdays were only 2 days apart. But we very quickly found out we shared many more similarities than just that (often calling ourselves the same person) - participating in the biomedical sciences program in high school, convincing me to join the swim team, attending Salisbury University together (even living together for a couple years), and ultimately going through nursing school together. Only difference now being that she works with adults and I work with kids oh and that she left me and moved to Florida- but luckily we have a nice beautiful and warm place to visit her!

Joey's life changed forever when he met me at some point early in Megan and I's relationship. To her horror, Joey and I quickly formed an alliance against Megan's reign over the men in her life. Joey attended the University of Maryland, with his first two years overlapping with my last two years. Fortunately we never bumped into each other when walking between classes and since neither of us definitely never went to the local drinking establishments due to extensive studying we never had to worry about uncomfortable run-ins there either.

Zach and I met our first day of our freshman year at UMD. He lived in the dorm across the hall from mine and we quickly became best buds despite him being a disgrace to the Zack community due to him spelling his name wrong. Zach introduced me to Paintball and we both joined the school's Paintball Team where we met many of our closest friends. Since moving into our freshman dorm, Zach and I didn't sleep more than 10 feet apart from each other until we unfortunately had to go our separate ways after graduating. Some say he still cries himself to sleep every night.

Lauren and I met originally as buddies on the cross country team in high school, but didn't truly become best friends until she joined the swim team and we bonded at a swim team dinner. Luckily she loved Chili's just as much as the rest of us so she quickly fit into our friend group - and with 4 of us it was much easier to share the 2 for $20. From weekly shopping trips, swim team & cross country parties, beach trips and our trip to Greece we only grew closer. She even joined Abby and I at Salisbury University.

Megan and I met our first day of college at Salisbury when she was my suite-mate, but quickly became a third roommate (and an official roommate the following 3 years of college). We realized that we were twins and would often introduce ourselves by saying "Hi, we're Megan". But we discovered that we were more similar than just having the same name. We love to go for runs together (and both have run half marathons-just not at the same time), share the Pizza Hut dinner box, cheer on the Ravens and the Orioles, find the best Happy Hour deals & share a bottle of wine while watching the Bachelorette.

Austin and I met early in my freshman year at UMD when we both joined the Paintball Team. Our friendship really solidified when he was one of my roommates and he lived in the solitary frigid basement of our off-campus house, where we got lost in the piercing blue eyes of Robert Herjavec while watching Shark Tank. We must look pretty much identical because the President of the team at the time constantly got us confused, so is Megan marrying me or Austin? Tune in to find out.

Amir and I met when I approached the Paintball Team's table at the First Look Fair at UMD. The team was his baby and we helped him in the famous overthrow of the team's thieving tyrant. Because of this, Amir is largely responsible for bringing the gang together that has been an incredibly tight knit group since freshman year. If you see a groomsman with a beard, it's him because the rest of us are physically incapable of growing one.

Kenzie and I met in college. We adopted her into our apartment our sophomore year and lived together for our last 2 years. We couldn't have been more different, but as they say opposites attract. I introduced Kenzie to the library (which she did walk through once to take graduation pictures) and Kenzie introduced me to margs, rap and Plaza (the best Mexican restaurant in Salisbury). We did share a mutual hatred of bugs and were great co-parents to our cat Kyle our senior year.
