Our stars aligned on November 12, 2019 during a Spyhouse Coffee date in Minneapolis after meeting on the dating app Hinge. On that chilly Tuesday night, Megan & Derek shared stories for hours and instantly connected over a mutual love for the outdoors and food (specifically The Habit Burger Grill, a California Burger chain that Megan was amazed a Minnesotan knew about!). During our first month together, we braved the cold to adventure around Minnesota together. Our first photo was taken in Saint Paul on an Ice Skating date, a surprise Derek planned for Megan’s birthday.

Throughout our time together, we’ve continued to share our love of the outdoors. Currently, we’re working towards a goal of hiking all 68 Minnesota State Parks together!

We’ve flown across the country to Megan’s home state of California to visit San Francisco, Lake Tahoe, Los Angeles and Yosemite. We, of course, get Habit Burgers every time!

Over the last four years, we’ve loved dancing the night away at family and friends’ weddings, and we cannot wait to share our special day with you!
