Both! Our ceremony will be held outside in the Sensory Garden with the cocktail hour and reception to follow inside in the Snyder Building (a short walk up from the garden. Please note that it is a bit steep and there are options for pickup and dropoff at the Ceremony and Reception spaces to avoid the walk).

There are two options: you can drive and park right at the Landscape Arboretum or you can park at the Hilton Minneapolis-Bloomington (our hotel block) and take our buses. Buses will depart from the Hilton and drive to the Arboretum at: - 2:15pm -3:30pm There will be a slight walk from the bus drop-off down to the Sensory Garden where the ceremony will be held; there will be signage indicating where to go. Buses after the reception will depart the Arboretum and drive back to the hotel at: -9:30pm -10:30pm -11:30pm Please be prompt for bus departure times. You are also welcome to ride share if you're heading back to your homes after the reception. However you choose to get to and from the wedding, please plan accordingly to get home safely :) You can come as early as you’d like to the venue to walk around any of the gardens or areas at the Arb (you will get free admission all day— at the front gate tell them you are there for the “Doi & Schmitz wedding”)

Colorful cocktail attire for the ceremony and reception (or whatever you feel your best in!). Casual attire for the brunch (we know many of you may be taking off for flights soon after, so feel free to wear your comfiest clothes :))

You should fly into the Minneapolis-St Paul Airport (MSP). It is 30 minutes from the venue and less than 10 minutes from the hotel (you can schedule a complimentary shuttle ahead of time with the hotel to get to/from the airport or ride share). Sun Country is a MN- based airline that has direct flights from SF to MN that we travel on frequently, but you can fly whichever airline works best for you.

While we have a hotel block at the Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington, you are welcome to find other accommodations if you would prefer to stay closer to the venue (in Chaska) or in Downtown Minneapolis. Hotel Block information is located on the "Travel" page, and we will have transportation from there to the venue and back as well as a brunch the day after there.
