OUR DATING STORY:

Picture of OUR DATING STORY:

Megan and Peyton met for the first time in 2015, as coworkers at the Nashville Airport Marriott. They became work friends, often spending a lot of time in each other's offices... Megan had many nametags to make and Peyton kept finding things to laminate! But in 2017, Megan got a new job and they lost touch.

5 years later, Megan shared an Instagram story and Peyton sent her a dm. It turns out that they had never stopped thinking about each other. A whole THREE WEEKS after the first message, Peyton finally asked Megan to catch up over drinks. Neither was certain it was a date until after, when they knew they wanted to keep seeing each other.

Since then, they've been almost inseparable and ecstatic to be together. Megan knew she wanted to marry him 4 months into dating. They are both so thrilled to take this next step into a life together forever!

OUR ENGAGEMENT STORY (FROM MEGAN):

Picture of OUR ENGAGEMENT STORY (FROM MEGAN):

Thanks to a silent auction (and an open bar), Peyton had bought us a stay at the New Orleans Marriott - French Quarter. I'd already been ring shopping and was (embarrassingly) impatient to know when the proposal would happen. Our first day in NOLA, I asked if he'd packed everything he needed. Peyton took that moment to tell me that he did not have the ring yet and he would NOT be proposing. We should just enjoy our vacation. I realized he was right, and I would ruin my time waiting for it to happen.

However, on day 2 we'd planned to visit the Botanical Gardens. I should have been suspicious - my lovely fiancé is not normally a garden type of guy! But because of our talk, I put it out of my mind and enjoyed the scenery. Once we got to the Pavilion of the Two Sisters, he grabbed my hand and got down on one knee. I said yes immediately - and then Peyton introduced me to the photographer who had been hiding! Turns out they had been in talks for weeks! Realizing that this had been his plan all along, I started to cry. Those tears made it into a few of the photos we then took!
