Mike and Megan met through a mutual friend at the beginning of their senior year of high school in 2021. It didn't take long for Mike to ask Megan to be his date to the Homecoming dance. From then on, they started dating: going to the movies, trying new restaurants, going to parks, or just spending time together with family.

Since then, they've moved to college and are both working toward their respective degrees. During the summer of 2024, Mike had an internship opportunity in Aberdeen, South Dakota, so they didn't get to see each other as much as they had been, but it was all worth it when after a long summer apart, 3 years after they had first started dating, Mike took Megan to their favorite park and asked her to marry him. (Spoiler Alert: She said yes!)
