Not very many people meet their soulmate when they are 5, but that’s exactly what happened that one day in the Centennial elementary cafeteria while when Jenny and I were sipping on our milk cartons when suddenly, our eyes met and it was love at first sight. At least that’s what we tell people.

Jenny has been by my side throughout our elementary, junior high and high school days. We were roommates in college, studied the same degrees and even worked together for a brief stint at a tax firm. She’s been the one person I can always rely on to listen to me whine and give me the advice I don’t want to hear. It was an honor to stand next to her at her own wedding and watch her bring two beautifully babies into the world.

Now I get to return the favor and say “I do” with my best friend by my side.

God knew no one could handle us as sisters, so he made us best friends instead.

I've known Henry for a quite a while. Since middle school, we were band geeks and causing a ruckus. High school came around and you could say Henry met his high school sweetheart Kimi because of me. No, really! A true and great story for another time.

Henry had a wild hair and a like minded ambition to get into the fire service. Henry and I got our feet wet at the same time with the Moscow Volunteer Fire Department in 2011 as Resident Fire fighters. We even were hired with the Lewiston Fire Department at the same time in 2014 as reserve firefighters.

It is fitting that Henry is my best man, as I was Henry's best man for his wedding. And he will do an exceptional job!
