Our journey first began in April 2017 when we both swiped right on tinder and didn't look back once we started talking. When I was was home from university for the summer we had our first date going for drinks in Prestwick on 05/05/17. Taylor thought he had been stood up as I was late as usual. We made it official on 01/07/17 on a night out in the romantic setting of Club de Mar in Ayr. We managed to make long distance work for a short time while I finished university in Aberdeen before moving home. We went our first holiday together to Paris on 18/12/17 for my 21st Birthday. Since then we have traveled many places together including Tenerife, Amsterdam and Cancun but have also enjoyed family holidays to Florida and Lanzarote. We can't wait to add to our holidays and go on our honeymoon to Las Vegas, New York and Barbados. COVID was an unfortunate event for everyone but through the kindness of my mum and dad, Taylor moved in with the Hughes' which helped us to realise the strength and love our relationship has. This led to us buying our first house together and got the keys on 15/01/21. We moved in a few weeks later after lots of support and help from our families. Then finally after a year had passed on 21/1/22 Taylor surprised me to an overnight stay and spa at the Gailes Hotel where he proposed. He was so nervous he forgot to get down on one knee. Since then we have been planning our special day and we can't wait for you all to join us. We can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together.
