This little fashionista made an entrance in the Spring of 1987 talking early and often. So much so that her mom, Dawn, told her orthodontist, in her teens, that she needed braces due to 'wind erosion'. A joke he did not understand... or atleast find funny. She would end up living in many places near and far, collecting an amazing group of friends beyond her wildest dreams. Many of whom you'll meet here too! Megan always knew what she wanted and worked hard towards it, finding a partner would be no exception - but he would be worth the wait.

Born in Mexico City in the middle of December, Cris came into the world ready to party! Martha recalls one of the first things he learnt was how to turn on the stereo, alluding to a lifelong love for music. At 10 years old, Cris and his family moved to Frankfurt, Germany - they all speak 4 languages! After a quick year in Spain first, they then emmigrated to Canada in 2006. As a young man, Cris was active in sailing, drumming and to this day is a verified gear head. During the first year of the covid pandemic the company that Cris worked for relocated from Vancouver to Kelowna. This move would turn out far better than Cris could imagine.

Hinge brought Megan and Cris together over a tequila sunrise brunch with a beautiful lake view at The Hotel Eldorado. They quickly followed that up a few days later with a wine touring dates, stand up comedy and touristing around the Okanagan.

Just before Christmas 2021, they rushed the long, long way to Vancouver (through the US?!?) after all of the roads had been flooded out and washed away and through blizzard conditions to welcome their newest family member - Billie!!

June of last year, they officially moved in together and started making future plans!

Last October they met up with friends from Atlanta, San Diego and Australia in Egypt of all places to embark on the trip of a lifetime! And what an adventure it was!

Just as they were gearing up for a busy Christmas season, Cris decided to Pop The Question and put a ring on it at one of their favourite places - Quail's Gate Winery amid the vines all lit up with christmas lights.
