By choosing the USD package vs the CAD package we were able to reduce the initial deposit from $300 CAD per person to $100 USD per person. The USD package also came with a tiered cancellation policy vs. no cancellation at all with the CAD package. We thought this was a safer option for everyone when planning so far in advance.

We opted to go with a hotel only package for several reasons. The group flight options ended up being more expensive than booking your own flights and for the most part were limited to SunWing out of 2-3 hubs in Canada only or were significantly more expensive. The flight packages also were only applicable for Canadian guests, leaving out our American, Mexican and International family and friends. The hotel only package also allows you to book your flights however you like, whenever you like; use points, use your covid vouchers, leave early, stay longer and travel through whichever hubs you like best!

One to two months before the wedding week is the best time to book airport transfers. As we get closer, we'll keep an eye on airlines and arrival times of the group and work with Ryan, our planner, to coordinate private and group shuttles in the most efficient and cost effective way for everyone.

If the room category you were hoping for (ie, swim out, ocean front, ocean view, preferred club etc.) seems to be no longer available, please let Ryan at Wedding Butlers know ASAP. As the hotel releases rooms that were previously held for other groups, he can add them to our group room block or create waitlists for certain room types.

For any single travellers that are opting to join us without a plus one and would like to potentially save some money, we may be able to coordinate things between other friends joining us or on the backend with the hotel. Please let Cris and Megan know.

Of course! We love your kids too and worked hard to find a resort that looked like fun for the kids and the whole family!

Honestly, it was one of two dates available. We also have to be in the country for 2 business days not including weekends or holidays, so Wednesday was our best option. For our guests residing in Mexico or who don’t want to take a whole week off and do the whole destination experience , there are day passes available or 3 night minimums.

For example, the Deluxe JUNIOR Garden View does have a sofa. It's not a pullout sofa but it's made for kids to sleep on. The sofa when you remove the pillows are quite wide as they were put in these rooms for kids to sleep on. We can always request a cot to be in the room for anyone but these would be better to sleep on.
