Megan & David

September 1–4, 2024 • Barcelona, Spain

What are the wedding dates?

The actual wedding ceremony will be on Monday, September 2th, 2024. However, all wedding attendees will all be staying at Casa Felix from September 1st - 4th.

What are the costs associated with travel and accommodations?

Your flight to Spain and the stay at the villa ($175 per night per room). The future Mr. and Mrs. Berrios are graciously covering the costs of food, and drinks for all of the guests during the stay.

Hotel payments can be sent directly to david via venmo or zelle

What is the nearest airport?

The nearest airport is Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN). It is a large international airport with many direct flights from most major airports.

We have also heard of people that are planning on flying to Madrid, which has more direct flight options, and either taking the train down to Barcelona or renting a car.

When and how should I arrive at Casa Felix?

Check-in to Casa Felix is at 3:30pm local time. The rehearsal dinner will be the same night as we check in so we recommend arriving in Barcelona or Sitges a day prior. (Hotel suggestions are listed on the website)

Casa Felix Address: BV-2111, s/n, 08818 Olivella, Barcelona, Spain

We encourage you to build in time for recovering from jet lag prior to the festivities beginning.

What accommodations will be provided?

Casa Felix is equipped with 21 en-suite bedrooms. Each couple will be accommodated in their own private room.

What food and drinks will be provided?

Brunch and dinner will be provided every day while at Casa Felix. Snacks and beverages (beer, wine, and soft drinks) will be available throughout your stay. If you would like, you can also bring liquor to Casa Felix for your own consumption (and to share!).

Extra Fees -

If you decide to go on the wine tour there will be a fee of 50 Euros which will include the wine tour, tastings, and transportation to and from the villa

We’ve added a few reminders below of things you’ll need to plan for your trip:

- Up to date passport = please note that getting or renewing your passport during these times can be a multi-month process so please plan ahead. (Every guest will be asked to provide their Passport information at arrival.)

- European travel plug adapters for power outlets = this Amazon product works well in Spain t.ly/ujLn

- Cash in Euros = While we don’t expect you to have any expenses during your stay at Casa Felix, you may need Euros before and after for a number of reasons. Credit cards are widely accepted in Europe, but some places still require cash.

Top Tip – Watch your belongings

As in all big cities and especially one as popular as Barcelona, clever thieves are on the look out for opportunities. Be extremely vigilant especially on the Ramblas, the underground and any touristy area. Carry only the essentials and leave other valuables in the hotel safe. If you must carry a bag, wear one that crosses over your chest instead of hanging from your arm or shoulder. The Ramblas has lots of entertaining acts you stopping to watch presents the perfect distraction for pick-pockets. Another Ramblas favourite is a game with a ball and 3 small cups and you have to guess where the ball is, one of the gang who passes for an unsuspecting victim hands over a €50 note and “wins”, and then once enticed, you’ll find that your €50 note does a vanishing trick.

Most importantly, don’t be put off by all of this, Barcelona really is a magical place.
