Anuj and Megan matched on Hinge, a dating app, in the summer of 2021. On August 29, they met for their first date at Da Edoardo in Grand Blanc, MI. Conversation flowed on both sides, so much so that they barely ate any food! And for Megan, that was surprising since she loved Italian and is pretty introverted.

Soon, they made plans for their second and third dates, learning more about each other along the way. Anuj introduced Megan to Thai food and sushi, his favorite video games, and converted her to a Michigan State fan (Go Green!). Meanwhile, Megan shared her love for Victorian literature, puzzles, and board games, and her crazy cat, Mocha.

Anuj and Megan knew they had something special, bonding over their love for Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and superhero films. They traveled to Universal Studios, attended Michigan State tailgates and football games, and explored big cities together.

On July 20, 2024, Anuj surprised Megan with a big proposal in downtown Northville in front of our closest friends. Now, we are so excited to be celebrating our love with our family and friends in an Indian fusion ceremony! We can't wait for you to join us on Friday, Oct. 3, 2025! Here's to forever!
