It was a sunny spring morning when Megan and TJ met for brunch at The Wild Fork. Of all days, it was April Fool's Day, so naturally TJ had texted Megan the night before, "I just realized that tomorrow is April 1st. I don't need to watch out for some April fool's prank do I?". Unless the prank was that this would be his last first date EVER, the brunch went very well and they immediately planned their next date. The following few weeks held continuous streams of conversation and numerous dates. By Cinco de Mayo, TJ asked Megan to be his girlfriend. As you may notice, TJ is beginning to trend with minor holidays... Strange? I think not.

For TJ (and Jade's) 26th birthday, the gang took a weekend trip to float the Illinois river, grill out, and play some dangerously escalated games of Dice. I think we can all blame mustard for the mayhem that ensued. Real question... Who has the dice now?

At only 5 months of dating, Megan and TJ (plus the gang), embarked on their first road trip to the Black Canyon of the Gunnison in Colorado for camping, hiking, and incredible canyon descents over Labor Day 2022. #TeamLeader # chadsfanclub

October 2022 was a whirlwind for Megan and TJ. They embarked on another road trip to spend a weekend in MN for Taylor/Ramsey’s engagement party and a wedding where TJ met many of Megan’s family and friends. Shortly after, TJ hosted friends from Dallas for the annual Slattoberfest and an Arkansas friend for the Tulsa Oktoberfest. Oh and they dressed up for a Casino Night for Megan’s 25th birthday!

In November TJ and Megan went to a couple friendsgivings and then they parted ways to go to Thanksgivings. On her way home, Megan got into a car crash in her brand new truck :( The following couple weeks were Christmas shopping and the couple again parted ways for Christmas and New Years.

Within the first quarter of 2023, TJ firstly helped Megan move apartments. Then the couple went down to Denton, TX to visit some of TJ's college friends. They woke up at the crack of dawn to pregrame THE BEST BBQ in Texas (Goldie's) and then went to the Fort Worth Stockyards. They even squeezed in tulip picking!

For Memorial Day 2023, Megan and TJ backpacked the Buffalo National River and found the coolest watering hole!

Megan brought TJ to the Lake for the first time for the Fourth of July! Highlights of the week: TJ experienced a Wisconsin boat parade, became the best bartender Riel Thirsty Bar has known, and he even showed off his water-skiing prowess! For TJ's 27th birthday, Megan took him out for Korean BBQ at Mr. Kim's and they caught drinks at the Valkyrie. And please for the love of God peep TJ, fully sober, climbing a building downtown.

Labor Day 2023 was one of the couple's favorite adventures together. The trip was a two-parter. Their ultimate goal was to make the Great Sand Dunes National Park in southern Colorado but they needed to pits stop somewhere along the way. They inadvertently selected the most magical place to pit stop: Taos, NM. The giant pine trees, rushing snowmelt rivers, and snow-capped mountains awed the couple. They ended up hiking the highest peak in NM (Wheeler Peak) and camped at the gorgeous Tres Ritos campground. Looking for places to boulder, the couple drove around Carson National Forest and just fell in love with the land. They eventually went into Taos proper and Megan confidently ordered Menudo. She quickly discovered she detests Menudo.

Regretfully, the couple had to move along to their next stop: The Great Sand Dunes National Park. On the way to the NP, they stopped in the middle of nowhere to boulder the Tres Piedra area in northern NM.

TJ and Megan stayed at Zapata Falls Campground just outside Great Sand Dunes NP. They woke up at dawn to hike the Dunes and giggled like little kids playing in the sand. They grilled steaks, hiked some more, and slept under impeccable stars.

A couple weeks later, TJ and Megan drove up to Wisconsin for Taylor and Ramsey's wedding. And man was that a party!

The Fall of 2023 was packed with camping, Oktoberfest, and Megan's 26th birthday party. Along with their packed social schedule, the couple spent their first major holiday together: Thanksgiving! And more serious conversations led them to decide to move in together after their leases were up in the new year.

February 2024, Megan and TJ moved into a house in Broken Arrow, OK together. Out of all the things to be excited about, the couple was most excited to finally have a GRILL!!

In April 2024, the couple celebrated their 2-year anniversary and then promptly hosted Taylor and Ramsey for the Solar Eclipse! The four hooligans booked a little cabin in Devils Den State Park in AR and watched the solar eclipse from a large rock outcropping.

For Memorial Day 2024 TJ and Megan went back to Taos (couldn't wait)! They selected a much more difficult hike than expected, wading through knee-to-waist-high snowpack... but it was all worth it to see the iced-over mountain lakes! And after the rough hike, they decided to take it easy the next day and do a mild hike near their campsite. But little did they know a mama bear and her cub were waiting for them at the summit and so that hike was a little quicker than they wanted. The rest of the trip consisted of chess, reading books in hammocks, and campfire beers. The good life, some would say.

In the Summer of 2024, the couple hosted the First Annual Beer Olympics, spent a weekend on Lake Tenkiller with friends, and went back to the Lake in Wisconsin for the 4th of July. The couple even found some time to spend at ANOTHER lake in Iowa with TJ's family!

Labor Day 2025 was spent in Bayfield, WI hiking around the Apostle Islands and camping in a yurt! They took a ferry to see the place where Taylor and Ramsey got engaged, swam in Lake Superior, and saw the Northern lights.

The third quarter of 2024 was classic fall activities: pumpkin patches, soup nights, Oktoberfest, and camping. TJ and Megan started dispersed camping in the Ouachita Mountains and spent a couple weekends exploring the back country roads. For Megan's 27th birthday, they threw a Johnny Depp themed party and the costumes did not disappoint!

In early November, the couple took a getaway to Broken Bow, OK to see the peak fall colors and enjoy some peace and quiet.

For Thanksgiving 2025, Megan and TJ went to Paola, KS to fest with his family and...GET A PUPPY! World, meet Dandy :)

The 2024 Holiday Season was spent up North visiting family. Dandy got to meet her mom's family and experience a Wisconsin winter.

In January, TJ and Megan watched Dandy transform into a velociraptor and went to Ray and Torya's engagement party!

On February 8th, 2025, TJ and Megan went out for "fancy dinner" which they like to do a couple of times a year. This fancy dinner took place at Baron's on 1st. The meals were delectable and the service was top-notch. Upon leaving the restaurant, TJ dropped to one knee and proposed. Of course, Megan said "Yes!" TJ had hired a photographer to sneakily document the whole night, even while they were eating! They were presented with champagne and a chorus of congratulations. It was the best night of their life (so far).
